Rider Swap at Rope Drop?

We are planning to ride 7DMT at rope drop but my daughter is not tall enough to ride. We want to do rider swap, and I was wondering if there would be any issues with this since it will be at rope drop and people will be flooding into the line. Does all of our party need to be there the get the rider swap pass, or can my daughter and I go to the CM to request it while my husband and son go ahead and get in line? Thanks for any advice or experience you may have with this!

You all need to go to the standby line and request the swap pass. Then your son and DH can continue through the standby line while you head off to wait with your daughter. Once they come off, you and your son can go back through the FP line with the swap pass while your DH waits with your DD.

What I would suggest is once they get out, taking advantage of the low lines at the other attractions and coming back and using the rider swap pass later when lines are longer.

2. It will always be busy..

I did this last October and did not have any issue. My daughter rode while I stayed with my younger son. The line did not back up during the time we were getting the pass. Once she was off the ride, the line was very long so we did other rides and came back later.

The only one you have to have with you is the child you're getting the pass for.
