Okay...I am currently working on my 2011 trip planning somewhat since 2010 is done and paid for. Is there a website or a place to see what past closures were over the past few years? Trying to find the perfect time to go that is before October, but not busy, but without major ride closures and NO Xmas overlay for Haunted Mansion.

Summer. :thumbsup2

-Almost no ride closures (except for very long term refurbs, such as Star Tours next year, which will be closed to change the film)

-Crowds are lower than you would think during the middle of the week, but only during July and early August when the majority of the AP holders are blocked out

-Haunted Mansion goes down in mid-September

Any other time before October is going to have at least a couple refurbs most likely (in addition to Star Tours) because that's just what happens. Jan-early March probably has the most number of refurbs. March-April has a couple, but Spring Break crowds are high. May might also be a good option, but the parks just aren't open as long and the entertainment isn't in full swing yet and there might be a couple refurbs. September will also be a bad time if you don't want any rides closed.

yeah but I don't want the heat of the early summer months and i'm an AP holder so I don't want to be blocked out lol

No HMH and no summer heat...then some time between Feb and May...

HM schedule:
Jan: closed for 2 weeks to remove holiday overlay
Feb-Labor Day: Reg. HM
Labor Day-Last Fri in Sept: closed to switch to HMH
End of Sept-early Jan: HMH.

Unfortunately, there are no times with:
1. Low Crowds AND
2. Few (or no) ride refurbs AND
3. No summer heat AND
4. APs not blocked out

One of these, you will have to sacrifice most likely. May will probably involve the least amount of sacrifices. However, the only concern is the ride refurbs.
