A farmer knows that 20 of his hens, housed in 3 coops, will hatch 30 eggs in 18 days. How long will it take 30 hens, housed in 4 coops to hatch the same number of eggs?

18 days

In response to Steph's 'comment' about my knowing what the actual hatching period is for chicken eggs (21 days),

I had a boss once that used to sing "Farmer John I'm in love with your daughter" to me 'cause he said I was always milkin' the job

And as far as my being a farmer, of course I'm OUTSTANDING in my field (tadump)

Rain, Rain go away!

My dd is having their 5th grade picnic today - rain or shine

It is sooo soggy here - they are going to come home a mess!! I just hope everyone has fun and no one gets hurt.
We are tired of rain! I wish we could save some and request it for later in the summer!
