Riddle me this! (3/13/03)

Morning all! Nice warmer but rainy day here. I will take the rain over the snow any day. We still have some huge piles of snow in my yard and I'd love to see them melt away.

John!!! I am so proud you knew what day of the week it was!!

Thanks Bernie for the pic of Julie. I sure wish I could be there too.

Morning! Chance of rain and/or snow here this morning, but it looks pretty nice so far. I can't believe the temps are going into the 60's this weekend! The only bad thing about the increase in the temperature is that our backyard is turning into a mudhole. The dog is not too happy because now she has to go from the back yard right to the garage since she is full of mud.

Diane, please keep us update on your stepmother.

Pool talk? Here's mine about a month ago. The tree to the right and behind the gazebo are both gone now. Thank goodness, they both dropped a lot of crap into the pool, and what a joy to clean it! NOT.....................

I pondered yesterday's riddle, I am not familiar with the answer!!!I didn't get it!

Good morning everyone! Need to down my coffee to get my brain working... just not tumbling to the riddle answer this morning yet.

We are getting rain, and warm temps around here. It is 5:17 am and it is 48 degrees outside already! VERY warm for this time of year. Highs are expected to be in the mid 50's.

I am glad to see it warming up a bit... I am definitely in the mood for spring.

Good morning everyone. It really was a sleep in for me today. Goodness, I'll hate to go back to work next week.

If Julie is checking out the board. . .STAY there! They promised warmer weather and it's snowing again. Big, beautiful flakes. I have a foot high bank to get through thanks to the plow!

I don't have a clue about today's riddle, I'd probably get a "you're close, but what kind...." message.

Yesterday, I feel dumb not to have gotten snowing, (but it wasn't yesterday!)

I used instead:

painted, panted, anted, ante, ant, an, a in honour of the painting getting done.

streaks, steaks, steak, teak, tea, ta, a in honour of the streaking that was going on. And

threads, treads, tread, read, rad, ad, a in honour of The Riddle Thread

And, while I'd like to stay and play (and eat pancakes) I must be off. Any clues hidden in the messages??? Have a great day, and stay safe.
