Saturday May 13th.

This is it; our last and final day in WDW. All bags packed, sat on and forced closed the night before!! So it was up, showered and over to Sassagoula's to use some of our DDP Counter Service credits on breakfast. We then returned to our room to do the final check to make sure nothing in drawers, under the bed etc. and then it was wave bye bye to the room:

We then drove over to EPCOT for our final couple of hours:

I went straight to the Camera Centre to have another PhotoPass CD burnt with our extra photos on. Victoria and Avonia went off around the shops. Victoria was desperate to get an official Disney "Thumper" cuddly toy that she'd seen in MK and that I said we would buy on the last day. WRONG! There appeared to be every soft toy character on sale in EPCOT except Thumper.

We met up, had a few freebie drinks from Ice Station and then looked around the shops again, just in case. Nope, no Thumper in sight.

Unfortunately, time had now run out so we had to say goodbye to EPCOT:

Yes, even Baby Bunny said his Bye Byes.

We jumped into good old Miss Piggy and drove back to POFQ to have our lunch....still using our Counter Service credits, and at 2.00pm it was our final goodbye to the POFQ. Miss Piggy then took us on her final trip to the airport where we had to say goodbye to her:

We boarded our BA flight and took off on time. We all managed to sleep a little on the way back and landed a few minutes early. Through customs, on to baggage pick up and outside the airport was waiting the owner of Trumbles (see Part 1 - the hotel we stayed at). He took us back to the hotel where our car was waiting for us, and being a Sunday morning we were home in Bedfordshire at 9.00 am.

Well that is it, our last and final trip report. We have no more plans to visit WDW. Victoria is 13 and we said this was the last time we would take her out of school for a holiday, and there is no way I can afford to holiday in Florida any other time (unless someone knows of a really well paid job they want me to do ;) ). I hope you all enjoyed reading about our experiences and if you need any questions answered, please feel free to ask.

One last thing....how on earth could I have forgetten to tell you about Avonia and myself being picked to "star" in the Indiana Jones show when we were at MGM......

A packed last few hours. Shame about Thumper. You'll just have to "plan" something in for the future. ;)

Still one to come, a sort of epitaph. Still awaiting some photos from Avonia's camera... the film was only completed last Saturday (she's now had a brand new Digital camera for her birthday, so no more waiting for the developers!).

Nope, no Thumper in sight.

With regards to "Thumper", is there anywhere outside the Disney parks that sell "Park" specific soft toys?
