I'm taking a short trip with my adult daughter in January. She has requested to eat at a Disney restaurant (Table Service) that has the best ribs. Now I've eaten at almost every Disney restaurant there is over the years but we (DH, myself, and the younger kids) don't normally order ribs.

Can anyone make suggestions? Which table service restaurant(s) has the best ribs?

DH had them last month at ESPN Club and they were very good.
I have also heard good things about the ribs at Sci Fi.
Our favorite ribs are at a CS ..(Flame Tree).

:)

haven't tried it yet, am going there in October, but I've read wonderful things about the ribs at Yak and Yeti.

DH likes the ribs @ Sci-Fi. It's not table-service, but DS swears Flame Tree @ AK has the best ribs he's ever eaten.

Thanks everyone! We've had the Flame Tree BBQ ribs and I agree they are very good. Maybe I can talk her into those and we can do something different for a table service.

Also we aren't on the DDP this trip. We will probably be using a TIW card to table service.

I have never had ribs while at WDW but due to all the good reviews of Flame Tree BBQ in DAK , I am planning to try theirs this trip

Any thoughts on giving Hoop Dee Doo a shot? The food is pretty good (they serve all you care to eat chicken and ribs), the beer and wine is unlimited and the show is pretty entertaining.

Absolutely agree that the ribs at The HDDR were AWESOME. :thumbsup2

I'm pretty picky when it comes to ribs, and I didn't care for the Flame Tree ribs at all. I hope I had a bad batch. Now, I did enjoy the ribs from the skillet at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Same here..I thought Flame Tree ribs were just ok but nothing I would go out of my way to get again.

I love the ribs at House of Blues. I want to try Yak & Yeti on my next trip.

Okay, I'm glad you said that because I want to try House of Blues when we go in April. Now, I know to try the ribs!

Flame tree is OK, not amazing.
Same as a Chillis or a Friday's, so quite a deal for the money.

I have not had them at HOB, but make sure you check the restaurant.com thread on the budget board for deal there.

My DS11 loves ribs too, however he prefers "sweet" to "smokey" flavor. He found Flame Tree to have too much "smokiness" and preferred them at Cosmic Ray's. (I don't eat ribs, myself) Wondering if Hoop-Dee-Doo's are more "smokey" or "sweet" tasting? Anyone know?

FWIW:
I was looking at my review of Cosmic Rays from last year and I also said the ribs were slightly better than Flame Tree.
The ones at Flame Tree were a little tougher IMO.
Some people do prefer a little more pull to the meat than the "meat falls off the bone" style.
Of course I am from the North East, so what do I know about barbecue.

I had the ribs at Yak & Yeti and they were fabulous - tons of fall off the bone meat with a nice, sweet sauce that had a kick to it.:thumbsup2
