My DH loves ribeye and I haven't noticed it on anyone's menu. He's going to be so disappointed after I talked him into the Deluxe Dining Plan and the fact that he won't have ribeye the whole time. Anyone know where I can find one? Thanks

Not totally sure, but I think they have some type of choice meat.. not sure if it is rib eye or not.. at Chef Mickey's for dinner.

Check into it..

Yachtsman, DH said it was the best ribeye he ever ate, for $37 it better be

For a less expensive ribeye option try the Concourse Steakhouse. If you plan on being there before mid-May give it a try. After mid-May it will be closing perminantly.

So how is the Concourse? The Yatchsman's sounds good. But we have a 5, 2, and 9 month old and I don't think it would be a good idea with them.

I've dined at the Concourse 4 times and never had a bad experience. The ribeye was excellent and prepared the way I like it!

The one thing your kids will love is seeing the monorail run through the resort while you are dining there.

I just read on Allears that the new closing date is May 31. Anyone else hear/read this elsewhere?

First I've heard of an exact date. All I kept hearing was mid May timeframe.

The Yachtman has it- they were just named the #1 Disney owned Signature Restaurant on property. They just updated and made some changes to their menu on Sunday. Here is the ribeye description:

Oak-fired Rib-Eye
16-oz Rib-Eye with Horseradish
Mashed Potatoes and Red Wine Butter 37.00

I took a 4 year old to the Yachtsman last Sept. we had a early reservation. He had a great time we brought some small toys and a coloring book, not a problem at all.

There is also childcare at the Beach Club if you would like to take an hour or 2and have a adult "date" night. Just a thought.

Have a great time where ever you decide.

FWIW, there were a number of children at Yachtsman when we were the in August. We did eat fairly early (about 5:30 or 5:45), but there was no issue with the children. My children LOVED the paint-your-own puzzle dessert!

The ribeye at YSH is very good, it's always the cut of steak I get. The one at Shula's is even better but it's not on the dining plan and no kids menu.
