RI NFFC Disneyana Show & Sale November 17, 2007

The Southern New England NFFC Chapter, "RI OceanEars," will hold a Strictly Disneyana Show/Sale on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at The Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is $5.00 for 10 and over, Ages 3-9 $3.00.

Margaret Kerry, the model/actress for Walt Disney's Tinker Bell will make a special appearance. There will be a seminar and Disneyana appraising by Gary Sohmers who appears as an appraiser in Collectibles, Memorabilia and Toys on the PBS television program “Antiques Roadshow”, for a $5 fee, which will be donated to the RI based charity "Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation."

On hand will be many Disney vendors, pin trading, trivia, and children's activities, as well as representatives from Mouse Fan Travel to help you plan your next Disney vacation.

Proceeds from select activities (raffle, children's table, Disneyana
appraisals and more) will also be donated to the Gloria Gemma
Foundation.

Just wanted to say that it sounds like a GREAT time, and i wish i could go, but i am leaving for WDW early that a.m. from TF Green.. LOL
Is this a club you can join or something - the RI OceanEars??

Oh gee......you don't think you can delay your trip one day?? I don't blame you. I wouldn't either. I'm sorry you'll miss it, it promises to be a great day!
We hope to make this a yearly event.

Yes.....you can join the RI OceanEars. We are a chapter of the NFFC the National Fantasy Fan Club, the Club for Disneyana Enthusiasts. You can read more about the club at nffc.org. In order to be a member of a chapter you have to join the national organization.

It was so nice to meet you. We had a great turn out and Margaret Kerry's seminar was wonderful. What a talented lady.
