So I have a VGT room booked for our upcoming fantasy cruise on May 7 and have been keeping an eye on the DCL page and our cruise keeps disappearing and reappearing every couple of days. It looks to be permanently removed from the discount page but other than that seems to come and go on the website.

Any idea what’s going on?

I noticed the Dream still has its May 2 cruise up so it can’t be that were too close to the sail date. A member of our Facebook group called DCL on the phone and was told that our cruise was booked to 75% capacity as of a little over a week ago. At the time the cruise was gone from the page but has since reappeared and disappeared again.

Any thoughts on what’s going on?

Cruises will frequently disappear based on room availability. If there are no rooms available it will get taken down. Since you are so close to your sail date perhaps it is a matter of pulling it down while they make GTY/VGT room assignments?

The gty assignments make sense... I really hope the cruise is not so close to being sold out that they took it down for that. :scared1:

And my cruise is back… I’m going to keep track of how much it comes and goes. You would Think a multibillion dollar company would have better IT.

We are doing a quick cruise end of May (memorial wknd) and last time I looked - everything was unavailable except for Verandah rooms. We are VGT and have yet to get our room assignment. I know a lot of people on here are getting them 21-15 days prior to sailing and we are 37 days from sailing and I am pretty sure our cruise is going to be full. There are under 200 verandah staterooms left with inside/oceanview/concierge all booked. When we sailed for spring break, we heard that as of April 15 they were going to be pretty much back to full capacity. At least we go to experience two cruises at 50% capacity, it was so nice! I'll miss the private tables and empty decks for sure!

With Memorial Day weekend it might actually be really full but just as a potential peace of mind our cruise was showing completely sold out except for veranda and two concierge state rooms open till about 30 days before the cruise and then all of a sudden overnight it opened up a ton of inside and oceanview staterooms… Hoping the same thing happens for your cruise.

That's good to know! I swear it was not full as of last week - I check obsessively for our room assignment because I just can't help myself!! I hope this happens for us too! Pixie dusted fingers crossed!

Disney's IT sucks. That's it. I've currently been in a waiting room for 2+ hours past the registration time for RunDisney cause as usual their websites can't handle the traffic.

I have also noticed that some cruises are not available when I select US $ , but are available when selecting EUR€ or UK£

It's all a bit of a mess atm. I tried to call to make some changes to our cruises and book another and one day, I sat on hold for five hours, 35 mins. I hung up and called right at 7:00 am the next day and it still took 50 mins to get someone. Then I offloaded every question I had because I don't ever want to call back!
