rewards novice, a couple of question for the pros

Hello everyone! I just signed up for Sunshine Rewards and Quick Rewards. I really like them, but I have a few questions for those of you who are more familiar with them. First, I would like to try the subscribe options, but I am concerned about giving my phone number and address out. Do you receive solicitation mail and phone calls? If so, is there a way around it?
Also, if you can give us newbies any helpful tips or information that can help us maximize our points/$ and time I would really appreciate it!
