Rewards cardholders- how do you get notified about free dining?

It's been 2 yrs and I completely forget how I was notified that Free DDP was opened up for Disney Rewards Cardholders. I am HOPING it is offered again this year for stays in Sept. and IF it is, I certainly don't want to miss it.

So, do Rewards Cardholders get an email? Can you sign up for text alerts? Whats the best way to find out on Day #1?

FD and other discounts often leak a few days before they happen and people are booking and posting about it hours before Disney Visa card holders get the e-mail.

I've had the rewards card for years and never gotten any special notification. I always just read about it in these boards. They do sometimes send me invitations to random events in NY or LA, but never anything at Disney World!

I receive an email about free dining offers every year (I save them, too). You may need to go to disney rewards dot com and sign up for offer notifications (under Manage My Account).

I am emailed a couple days before the offer goes to the general public each time the have a offer.

I usually see FREE dining on disboards a few days before out is live and receive a email from Chase a few days after it is live.

I have always gotten the info on here first. It seems that I always get the email after the promo has started, so I like keeping up here on disboards to hear the info first.
