reward for a students at HRH?

My DD saw on Nicktoons that if you are an A student and are staying at a US/IOA hotel you get free stuff. I think I remember hearing this too. She goes to a private Montessori school they don't do report cards but her teacher would write a note as she is an A+ student. Is this something they do? What do they Get? Would a letter on school stationary work?

Loews hotels used to offer a "Grade A Kid's" promotion. We were at RP last summer and any child with an A on their report card (although they didn't ask to see one) could get free soda/tropical drinks from any bar/restaurant all day, also free dessert. Free coffee for parents also. Don't know if it is still valid, but they don't advertise it on the Loews site anymore. It saved us alot of money and the kids felt special using their Grade A cards.

Anyone try it lately??

I don't know if you saw my note I posted yesterday under Hotels/Resorts so I'll post it here also.

FYI - I just received a personal email from Loew's in response to my inquiry concerning the Grade A Kids Program at Hard Rock Hotel:

Yes, we are offering the Grade A Kids program this year. It begins the last week in May. Students who present a 2003 report card at check-in with at least one "A" on it will receive a Loews Loves Kids refillable mug. This entitles them to free beverages at hotel restaurants and a free dessert with every purchase of lunch or dinner. We look forward to hosting
you at Orlando's coolest, the Hard Rock Hotel!

So is there a bar or take out place near the pool that the kids can refill the mug at? That would be great! Also, what about at the Hard Rock Cafe? Can they use it there for drink refills? My DD just got straight A's and she will love that!
