I've revised our plan a bit... we were originally planning on doing a day at Universal but we've decided against it. This way we can fit in Ohana and another day at Disney. It's going to be our second trip but my MIL's first time at Disney and she wants to EAT! We're going to eat like we're on free dining but we're not (obviously because we're staying at Bonnet Creek). My kids are pretty good eaters (DS5 & DD3) but for some of the more expensive meals where I know they won't get their money's worth, they're going to go eat with daddy elsewhere. DH lives on cheese pizzas, grilled cheese, fries, pancakes & other kiddy foods so he'll be missing some of our "better" meals as well. I've also allowed for some breaks in the days where MIL can go back with the kids if need be. WDYT?

Do my times seem okay or would you change anything? Any tips on getting early reservations? Any good dishes to recommend?

anyone? I'm not too sure on the dinners for AK, Epcot #2 & MK #2 days. Would we be better off switching the Clam Bake to the Epcot night since the Beach Club is so nearby? I wasn't too sure on that one...

That Epcot #2 was the one that stood out to me.

If you can, I'd switch your Cape May and 1900 Park Fare. You're not going to another park after AK that day, so 1900 Park makes good sense there. And, as you said, putting Cape May on your Epcot day is a better choice so that you don't have as much travel time to dinner.

On Epcot Day 1, has DH definitely signed off on the Coral Reef dinner menu? Because, oddly enough, picky eaters seem to do really well at Biergarten, whereas I'm not so sure about Coral Reef. You might want to consider putting Coral Reef for the lunch that day; DH and any kids who want to can grab CS pizza instead, and then have the family dinner together at Biergarten.

Agree on the AK day make a later dinner ADR at 1900PF. Then on Epcot Day 2, have the Cape May dinner. DH and kids should check out Beaches & Cream (which does not take ADRs even though it is TS); only go to Hurricane Hannah's if the line for B&C is too long.

Also on Epcot Day 2, are you sure about that TRex lunch? Might you be better to have CS lunch in Epcot instead? Sunshine Seasons is a pretty good food court, or you can wander back to WS. I'd particularly recommend the CS in France. DH could have a plain cheese flatbread (like a personal size pizza) or a nice ham and cheese sandwich. You and MIL can be more adventurous with the quiches or croissant sandwiches. And the dessert selection is fabulous; make sure at least one person gets the Napoleon and enforce the rule that everybody has to share!
