California Grill: Sushi, triple cheese triple garlic flatbread, another flatbread??, filet with tamarind barbecue sauce, some kind of fish but not the tuna (this was my entree and I can't remember what it was
but it was good), and the delicious beet salad. DS1 actually ordered the beet salad as his entree. It was my appetizer. It is soooo good! We aked for the wine room and only waited a few minutes. Food A Service A except he ticked me off. DS1 is 23, his girlfriend just turned 21. When the waiter approached our table for the first time, he whisked my son's wine glass away with a dramatic flourish. My son shrugged it off, my DH didn't even notice but I was embarrassed for my son. He didn't take away his girlfriend's glass so I guess he's not the expert on ages he fancied himself. He did ask for both ids when my huband ordered champagne for all four of us. He also brought them only one pair of chopsticks when he served the sushi platter that they shared but brought another when asked. His service other than these two things was really an A but don't mess with my children.
Chef de France for lunch: By now we were back to a party of four. My husband and I both had the French menu which includes French onion soup, a Croque Monsieu and creme brulee for I think $14.99. very good and a bargain. Our daughter had the lobster bisque and escargot. Great escargot and the soup was good but not as good as Narcoossee's version according to her. DS2 had a pasta dish from the children's menu that he loves and I think a different soup. We had a great server here. I think Chef de France has some of the best service in Epcot these days. Food A, service A
Victoria & Albert's..I am going to have to try to post a complete report on this but in case I don't get to it let me just say it was wonderful. Our Albert was fantastic. I don't know his name but he used to work at the Empress room. Our Victoria was very good too. They are serving Colston Basset Stilton now which is the best stilton I've ever tasted...so creamy. We did the wine pairings. Food and Service A+++++
Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch. Another tradition of ours. Good sandwiches in a very pretty setting. Our son always has a burger and our daughter the signature sandwich. Food A, service B
Kona for dinner: Mahi mahi, prime rib with a great horseradish sauce, Kiluae(sp?) torte. Great food that comes very fast. Food A, service A
Room service at the Polynesian: They serve the best cheeseburgers we've had at WDW. Beaches & Cream is not even close to these. Food A, service A
Well, it looks like I'm a pretty easy grader but I don't think I am. We really had great meals and service on this trip. Dining at WDW is one of our favorite things to do there and this trip exemplified how great it can be.
