Sept 24.
Breakfast: WCC
I had the Humphrey's Two Egg breakfast. Which consitisted of two eggs (scrambled ) two pieces of bacon, campfire potato's and a biscuit. The campfire potatos were very good, had some kind of cheesy sour cream sauce. Eggs were okay, a little runny for my taste. Mom had the same, thought it was good. Kids had pancakes whick they both liked. The waiter brought my 7 yr old an adult sized drink, not the kids cup. This really irked me as the adult sized drink costs more and does not come with the kids meal. minimun tip for our waiter this meal.
Lunch:
Mama Melrose at MGM. Mom and I split the Bruschetta and the Grilled Chicken Flatbread. The Bruschetta was really good. It was diced tomato's and other veggies in a balsamic viniagarette. The Grilled Chicken flatbread was also very good. It had grilled chicken , asiago cheese, red peppers and sundried tomato's. Yummy. Baby slept in his stroller and 7yr old had chicken fingers. Good meal, would go back again.
Dinner :
WCC (can you spot a trend yet?)
. I had the Doc Will's roasted chicken. It was a half chicken that came with buttermilk mashed potatos and baked apples. It was amazing!!. The chicken was juicy and tender. Mom ordered Cousin AL's veggie pasta which was farfalle pasta with portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers and tomato's and spinich in a light cream sauce. It was very good. Can't remember what the kids had. Mom had a Bud Light and I had a Sierra Nevade Pale Ale.
Sept 25
Breakfast: Roaring Forks. Mom had breakfast plate. I had a croissant, kids french toast sticks.
We went to Epcot had a late breakfast so we weren't very hungry. 7yr old and I shared a Maple choc Beaver Tail. It was not what I expected. It had too much topping and was very messy. It was good, but I may have liked it better without all the goo.
Lunch/snack: Liberty Inn. We all had Hot Dogs. They were pretty good. The toppings bar has onions, ketchup, relish and some other things that I can't remember. Not bad.
Dinner: Gourmet Pantry in Downtown Disney. This was probably the worst and most expensive meal of our trip. I had a Reuben, which was pretty good. Mom had tuna salad on a croissant. Kids both had grilled cheese. With one can of sprite and one can of diet coke this meal cost $45.00... won't eat here again
more to come later
