Reviews on Mickey's Backyard BBQ..

We will have a party of 9, Nov 7-14th. Myself, DH, DD15, DD5, my parents, my sister (30) and my 2 cousins (33 and 65). We are a fun group but want reviews on Mickey's Backyard BBQ. What time should we be there to get good seating? Where is the best seating in the place? How is the food? TIA

We really enjoyed it last November and are going back later this year. You are seated by the CM's as you arrive. I'm thinking we arrived and lined up about an hour before or even a little more. We were up front when we were led in to wait and meet Chip and Dale and then Goofy - only with that people arriving after us who chose to wait for the meet were able to walk by and be seated so we ended up not being seated for quite some time because we wanted to do the meet and greets which was fine with us. We ended up with a pretty good spot anyways.
I didn't think the food was bad at all. There was a variety of "cook out" foods - the only thing I remember not being crazy about was the hamburger that seemed dry but that could've been a fluke.
The kids loved dancing and we enjoyed sitting back with a beer and relaxing. We thought the show was cute too. One thing - when the characters come out to dance and the kids go out - watch out for crazy people with cameras surrounding their kids and wanting their kids to be the one to dance with the character! Once we got past that part it was fun.
