Found a decent AAA rate for January and I wanted some firsthand reviews. The tripadvisor reviews are pretty good but I'd like some other opinions! Thanks!!

Sorry I just saw your response! I'd love to know how clean the room/resort was, how close to Disney and what the traffic was like getting there, did it feel safe, and did you have any issues??

We rented from a friend who owns a unit there. We were on the fifth floor end unit. We could sit on the master bedroom balcony and see the fireworks at EPCOT. The balcony off the living area overlooks the pool and Lake Bryan.

We were in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with kitchen and llving/dining combo area with a balcony of each end of the unit. King size bed in the master, two doubles in the second bedroom and two bunks in the hallway. There was also a sleeper sofa in the living area. There was a washer/dryer in the unit as well. The unit was very clean and well maintained.

There was a television in each bedroom and living area.

Location is just down the road from Hotel Plaza Boulevard near Downtown Disney. Location very convenient. Easy to get to Disney, Downtown Disney, Wide World of Sports for Braves spring training and about 15 minutes to Universal.

Chic Fil A, Wendy's, Landry's, IHOP, Denny's, Friday's, McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts and a Starbuck right in front as well as many other restaurants all close by.

Felt extremely safe; only issue was internet related. There was supposed to be internet access via ethernet cord. We did not have much luck with this at all and could not access any wireless service at all.

Beware of Shell station just down the road. Advertises a very good price for unleaded gas and then when you use a debit card runs it as a credit transaction charging about 30 cents more per gallon.
