We had lunch at Le Cellier (our fist time here) and enjoyed it. We only waited 3 or 4 minutes to be seated. I had cheese soup (yum), tossed field greens (the whole field) and of course the delicious pretzel bread. DS had chicken fingers and fries and found the chicken to be a bit dried out. DH had the petite filet and said it was very good. It was DS birthday and they gave him a chocolate mousse dessert that we all enjoyed.

We made a quick stop at pizza planet for dinner since it was DS birthday and he wanted to go there. We shared a pizza and thought it was pretty good for theme park fast food.

Next day was lunch at Pecos Bills - we couldn't eat inside because DS and DH thought it smelled bad. I had the BBQ sandwich and fries which was good. DH had a cheeseburger which he said was average. DS had the baked beans and mini hot dogs and seemed satisfied. I think we prefer Columbia Harbor House for fast food at the MK.

No trip would be complete without a Dole whip float and it was yummy!

We finally made it (first visit) to Ohana. We waited about 8 minutes to be seated. Our first table was in the room with windows and had one seat facing the side window and the blaring rays of sun coming through the shade. We asked to be moved and received a new table quickly. We all enjoyed the food here. I liked the salad, the messy chicken wings, potatoes, pork and dessert best. DH liked the beef and shrimp. DS nibbled on all of it. Nobody cared much for the wontons.

The next day we snacked around the world showcase and finished up with snacks at the Roaring Fork.

Mothers Day breakfast was at Donald's. We waited over 20 minutes and ended up rushed. The characters were making their last rounds and we missed Pluto becuase we were at the buffet. The food was good though and our waitress ended up chasing down Pluto in the other side of the dining room.

Dinner at Brown Derby was delicious. We shared the best crab cake I have ever eaten. I had grouper and DH had tuna. DS had a hot dog and fries. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I noticed that the menu here had changed slightly from the one posted on allears.

DS asked to go to Rainforest Cafe for our last day. I had pita quesadilla (free appetizer with safari card) and DH had crab cake sandwich. DS had his favorite grilled cheese and fries. The food was good, but our server seemed to be trying his hand as an actor and we found it to be a bit much.

One delicious chocolate shake later from Ghirardelli and we were off to the airport!

Thanks for the reviews. We prefer Columbia Harbour House to Pecos Bills for MK counter service too. And I also thought the food at Pizza Planet was pretty good for counter service - definitely better than the other counter service I've had at MGM.

I'm sorry to hear the characters were rushed during your breakfast at Donald's. We always go there for the first seating, and it seems the characters aren't as rushed then. Maybe you could try that if you decide to go back. Glad to hear that the food was good, and that you got to see Pluto after all! :)

How did you like the grouper at BD? I was thinking of ordering that on our trip in July.

LOL! A few months ago I read a thread on a different board about a parent who allowed their child to urinate on the front steps of Pecos Bills. When I read your comment about the place smelling bad I wondered if that's the reason why. :rotfl:

The grouper was great (and I'm not a huge fan of fish usually). It was served with a lemon butter sauce along with asparagus.

That is funny about Pecos Bills, but DH thought it smelled like a dirty dish rag. I didn't notice the smell, but he didn't notice the yucky smell in our bathroom at WL. Go figure!

Oh, I LOVED the food at Brown Derby - and I had the grouper, too! So yummy, though rich =) My mom had the tuna and it was excellent as well.

Glad you had some good dining experiences!

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

I've had that grouper before--it's very good.
And menu changes are frequent at WDW so no real way for any site to be absolutely current. In fact, many menus are actually "dated" at the bottom.

OOh so happy to hear that the Brown Derby was good. We are going there in a month. Can't wait to try it again. It has been years since we went for lunch and we loved it then. This time we are bringing all the kids- yikes!! But we are booked rather early and they are generally well behaved restaurant eaters.(if not-out they go! so they learned to be a part of the action they have to behave)

:cheer2: Isn't that funny... my favourite thing about Ohana was the wontons!! Mmm... and potatoes...
