how do I look up reviews on the black taxi tours for london

we are on the British Isles cruise and Ive been reading alot about these private tours in a taxi where its not just a private tour you can customize it

I orginially thought there was only one com called "black taxi tours"
but in my searching I find there are several companies

I recently found one called "blacktaxitours.co.uk"
that sounds perfect but I cant seem to find reviews about this one since when I put in black taxi tours thats when I whole page of them comes up

and Im not sure which is the one I was looking at
any other tips or advice would be very helpful

Because of London traffic, touring London by the Tube (subway) is much more efficient. A one-day pass will cost a fraction of the price of a Black Cab. If you take the wrong train, just hop off and take the correct train using the day-pass. There are Tube maps on-line to plan your routine in advance.

I agree with Paul. Traffic in London is often terrible and the Tube is a quick and easy way to travel. We stayed near the St. James station and easily got to the places we wanted to go. The city is also walkable. For example, you can start at Trafalgar Sq, then walk to see Churchill War Rooms, Westminster Abbey and then walk along St. James Park to Buckingham Palace. So much to see in London.

No guide is needed for most London tourist sites, such as the Tower of London, London Eye, etc. Buy tickets on-line in advance and travel by Tube.

For guided tours of London, I do recommend London Walks, such as "Jack the Ripper", "Ghost Walk" or the "Pub Walk". These are generally given by a local.
