So I jumped on the mousesavers announcement of the reduced "restaurant.com" gift certificates....got a bunch for $10 total. Most of them are in the Swan/Dolphin at restaurants we haven't gone to before (used to be strict DDP believers...not anymore!). Any reviews of Todd English's, Il Mulino, Shula's and Kimonos? It seems a) they're all expensive and b) they're mostly ala carte. EEK. Maybe not the deal I had anticipated. Thanks in advance. :3dglasses

Todd English and Shulas are great. Give them a try. They are pricey though. Shulas also is not kid friendly, they don't have a childs menu.

I've dined at bluezoo and Il Mulino. Outside of Victoria & Alberts, they rank at the top of my list for Disney dining (and I'll be returning to both of them in a week).

A $10 discount isn't going to accomplish much at these places. Yes, they are pricey but IMO, they are a cut above any of Disney's signatures and you have a much better chance of actually enjoying a quiet meal here. Children are allowed at both of these but this is not family dining and it's predominantly an upscale adult dining atmosphere with unique dishes and superior service.

I hope you read the fine print! Most state you can use one GC per month

I have the kimonos, il mulino and House of Blues ones and plan on trying them next month

Only one I have been to is kimonos and love it!:thumbsup2

No, no. The TOTAL cost of all of my coupons wa $10.00 Most of the individual coupons are for $25.00. Understandably, still not a great big dent but based on your review, may be worth putting aside a little extra money in anticipation of a great dining experience.

EEK: To quote Mousesavers: You can only use one certificate per restaurant per month (but that means you could use one certificate at each restaurant during your vacation).

That's right, yes?

You can use one certificate at each restaurant once a month,so yes you can use one at each restaurant.I picked up several today and still have some for Bluezoo,Il Mulino and House of Blues from a month or two ago.I used one for Garden Grove last month and one at Imperium Food and Wine in Celebration.$25 of food for $1-$3 is always a good deal.

If you click on my June 09 review you will find a BlueZoo review with tons of pics and if you click on Oct 09 you will find one for Il Mulino

Both are to die for

Just wanted to say I enjoyed your reviews on these two restauraunts. I'm planning on trying these on our next trip since were staying at the BW. I haven't been able to find a lot of reviews since there not on the ddp. I'll take advantage of camp dolphin for bluezoo. Does anybody know if Il mulino is ok for kids 6 and 8. They have a kids menus so I assume its ok.

Just ate at Il Mulino on Wednesday. There were 5 of us and the bill was just over $500. We ate and drank alot. It was WONDERFUL with the exception of the linguine with white clam sauce. The friend that ordered it thought it was flavorless and was disappointed with his meal. The rest of us had FANTASTIC meals and the service was outstanding. Definitely would go back.
