Overall, a good trip dining wise. Minor gripes- 1-Breakfast service does not start early enough. 7-7:30 seemed to be when most places opened in the YC/BC/Boardwalk area. Im usually up by 6 so that means either sitting around for an hour or ordering room service. 2- Slow seating at Epcot restaurants.
Restaurants: 5 Stars Max
W. Puck Express-Food 3.5, Service 4, Value 4
Spoodles- Food 3.5, Service 4, Value 3.5. Not a big fan of the bread here although I like the olive oil the bring with it.
Blue Zoo- Food 4, Service 4, Value 4- had better visits here but still excellent, did not have time for dessert which is always great here.
YC Galley- Food 3.5, Service 3, Value 4. Service slow but friendly. Surprisingly good Mousse dessert at about half the price of a similar dessert in the YS.
Yachtsman- Food 4.5, Service 5, Value 4. Best meal in ~5 trips to YS service always good, food doesnt always measure up but this time it did. Lamb shank enough for 3 people.
Chefs de France- Food 3.5, Service 3.5, Value 3.5. Not bad, not great, madhouse at the podium, loud, packed dining room, hard to relax,. They seem better with the bread, apps, and dessert than with the main courses. Goat cheese tart was memorable, Short ribs were only so for the incredible saltiness.
Flying Fish- Food 4, Service 4.5, Value 4. Very good as usual. Crab salad app good but too many beets, Tuna excellent, dessert excellent. When the kids fish is grilled salmon, you know its a quality place..
Misc-Beaches and Cream- OK for what it is. ESPN- pretty good actually but putting 4 people at those little tiny tables is ridiculous. "Fresh" Expensive breakfast, lets just leave it at that. Morrocco lunch place -not bad. Germany dog and pretzel place- fair.
