Review of Wyndham Cypress Palms with Pictures

@robinb ... can you tell me what style of coffee makers are in the rooms? I am trying to determine what form I need to bring our Tim Hortons coffee in: grounds or Keurig cups. The Vistana still has the older-style 10 cup coffee makers (so we need the grounds and filters for that week) but I thought I should check to see if Cypress Palms is different. Thanks! This girl needs her morning cup of sunshine, and much as I adore the USA, I can't bring myself to learn to love Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks coffee :coffee:.
Our unit's coffee maker used "Melitta" type cone coffee filters. The coffee maker is in the second photo at the end of the counter but it's blocked by our disposable coffee cups. I use travel mugs at home but we always buy a package of disposable coffee cups for our morning ride into the parks no matter where we stay.

I can't say I've ever had Tim Horton's coffee. Starbucks is OK, but can be a little too acidic for me and Dunkin Donuts coffee is too mild. I drink a Kona blend at home.

Thanks Robin :thumbsup2 . An extra bag of ground coffee it shall be. Sounds like we should bring a second style of filters though, because the Vistana coffee makers use the basket style (not the cone shaped). I will add that to my pre-travel shopping list.

If you ever make it to South Eastern Ontario, look me up and I'll treat you to a Tim Hortons coffee. It's the best thing to come out of Canada (along with Hawkins Cheezies, butter tarts, and Jim Carrey).

We are here now......arrived yesterday around noon, to be exact. For the price we paid through Skyauction ($323 for a two bed/two bath villa) we are VERY pleased. I will do a full review after our trip, but I can say that the villa is spacious, well laid out and nicely appointed. Staff have been friendly and the grounds are well maintained. It's not our beloved SVR (especially as far as resort amenities are concerned) but its a HUGE bargain at this weekly rate. We will be very comfy here until the 21st of October, when we go "home" to the Vistana.
