Hi all!

I did a lot of research on strollers and I picked the Peg Perego Pliko because it reclines all the way back, was very comfortable and looked sharp!
We brought this stroller with us the WDW a few weeks ago. All in all it was OKAY. The storage bag was roomy but a little diifcult to put things in. Not too bad though. I did think my 19 mo old was very comfortable...she was very happy. But my DH was ready to throw the stroller out the window because it is IMPOSSIBLE to open easily. It opened halfway and then stopped. The only way we figured out how to open it further was to kick the back wheels (hard!)so the bar would latch! It did close easlily.
It is now in the back of my minivan fully open b/c I don't have the power to kick it latched when I am by myself. It is really too bad b/c it is a nice looking stroller.

We go back to WDW in april and DD will be 2 yrs old then......Those Macclarens are looking better and better! I might have to trade up!:goodvibes

There may be something wrong with yours. I have a Pliko P3 that I have had for over 2 years. I have no issues closing or opening it. It is not one-handed but it is not difficult either.

I have a Pliko P3 too and I have not had any problems at all.

Is it a Pliko Lite or P3?

I have the P3 and it's impossible to open! I feel like we must be doing it wrong. Glad I'm not the only one. :)

Thanks for the review!

Sounds like your stroller has a problem - defective or bent or something. Mine opens without difficulty.

I've taken both a P3 and a Mac to Disney World, and much much prefer the P3 - I hate the way the Mac tips if you don't remember to take the bag off the back before allowing an anxious preschooler out of the stroller!

...and we have no problem with it. Actually, I find it very easy to open, but you do need 2 hands to close it. I love mine.

Sorry you had problems. We have a Pliko that I purchased a couple of years ago. We love, love, love, love that stroller!! Seriously, I was recently telling my husband that it is probably my best "baby" gear purchase ever. We've taken it to WDW 4 times and it was perfect!

I also have this stroller and I absolutely love it, best purchase I made on buying baby gear never have a problem opening or closing, though I can tell that the more I use it the looser it seems to get, it's hard to explain but I think since they are so well made things are tight at first, anyway my son is 14 months and we have used it on 3 trips to WDW and a Disney cruise, chicago and many times around here. I know they have a warrenty so maybe you can call PP and they can yell you what to do.

We love ours, it works great, We have had it camping many times, To the Jersey Shore's boardwalks, use it all the time, Very easy to open and close, we have the Diaper bag to match, and the net cover for them flies!

Good luck!

Hmm..sounds like there might be a problem with your pliko..we have two plikos, and they both work great...easy to open and close...we love our plikos.

I have a P3 too. Never had a problem with it and it has taken three trips to WDW. I am sad my DD no longer uses a stroller. I need to find it a good home. ;)

I have a Pliko that is 5 years old. It still opens with no problem. You have to release the buttons on the handles, tilt it back and then pull up the handle. You might need to keep the buttons pressed as you finish opening it.

Same here -mine is 3 years old, and I've never had any problems opening/closing it.

I had a Pliko P3 and never had any problems opening or closing it. Sounds like something might be wrong with yours. Go on their website and they have a list for places that service the strollers. You could take it in and have it looked out to see what could be wrong. It doesn't matter where you bought it from to get it serviced somewhere.

BTW, I also have a Mac and I don't think it is a trade up from a Peg Perego even though I love both!

I have an almost 7 yo Pliko, and it opens fine. Sometimes, it has problems on the close, though, but that is a recent problem. (I just re-open it and close it again, and it is fine.)

Try some silicon spray on the parts that move together. That might help. I've sprayed mine a few times, and it helps.
