We are on the dining plan and will be at Ohana 2 weeks from tonight  but I know my ds who is 4 will not eat most of that food. He is afraid to try anything new  if he gets chicken or french fries or whatever, will that be included in the dining plan as his meal or will we have to pay oop for something besides what they bring out for the regular meal? Jennifer

Jennifer,

I've heard that if you order a kid's chicken fingers meal, etc., they'll charge you for a kid's meal price (under $6.00) but not charge for a kid's regular menu 'Ohana meal (which I believe is around $9 or 10.99). Just make sure they aren't charging you the $10.00 for a chicken fingers kid's meal.

We were there in January and then again in June. Both times, we got the kids chicken tenders, mac and cheese, fries, hot dogs, etc for no extra cost. We did pay the buffet price though. Wish we had known we could have gotten a plate of the same for the $6ish. I would save that TS credit for sure and just order a meal for him. Just ask them!

What a wonderfully written review! Many thanks for eating there and sharing your dinner with us. Virtually, at least!

We are celebrating my daughters birthday at Ohana's on Thursday. I will report back after we dine. My kids have never been so I am interested to see what they think.

Thanks so much for the review and pictures! I'm probably driving my DU agent crazy. lol! I switched from Ohana to Kona. And after reading that the wontons are still there, I switched back to Ohana. Let's hope there are no more changes before December!

Thanks for the review. I was there on September 15th and was served the same. I enjoyed all the food .

Thanks for the review. I'll be eating there Monday night. Look forward to this meal in particular!

Well written review. Thanks for the work. 'Ohana has been a family favorite of ours for years. For me, my meal at 'Ohana was about 10% wings, 20% wontons and 70% grilled shrimp. A creature of habit when it came to this restaurant. So, clearly, the loss of the grilled shrimp causes me to reconsider future visits. Too bad they didn't dump the pork for the sausage and keep the shrimp, then you might not be able to get me out of there. I'll give it another try, though.
