My family and I stayed in one of these homes for a week in January 2008. We stayed in the Nemo house. This was our first home rental experience and it was wonderful. The home is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath with private pool and spa located in the Emerald Island resort community. Two of the bedrooms had two twin beds and were themed. One in a Nemo theme, the other in a Mickey theme. There was also a king bedroom with it's own bath and a queen bedroom with it's own bath. The third bath was centrally located and Nemo themed as well. The home was very tastefully decorated, with lots of disney touches, particulary in the kitchen. There was a mickey-themed telephone, waffle maker, cutting board, toaster, dinnerware, etc. (the list goes on and on, down to the pooh ice cream scooper!). The pool was heated for our stay and it was wonderful! We used it and the spa everyday. My 5 year old enjoyed the home and pool so much that he just wanted to stay there all day instead of going to the parks. The garage was converted to a game room with an air hockey, foosball, and pool table. There was also a full size washer and dryer located in the game room. The home was very clean and well-mantained and I was surprised to find it "staged" for our arrival with both the dining room and dining nook tables completely set with Mickey-themed dinnerware, of course!

Sorry to say, I didn't really take any pictures of the home, but it looked just like the pictures on the owners website at www.mydisneyhouses.com . The owner was very good to work with and responded to all my emails and questions very promptly. I would not hesitate to rent from this owner again.

I think this stay has spoiled my family for future stays. In the past we have stayed on-site, as well as in several nice condos, but I'm thinking it will be pool home rentals for us from now on!

Please feel free to ask any questions.

The rates for the home are $125 -195 per night (plus tax) depending on the time of year. We went in January which was low season. Pool heat is also additional, but I would definitely recommend it if you are going during the winter months. My family's whole point for renting a home was to have a private pool, and it was so nicely heated we were able to use it every day. The pool turned out to be the highlight of my 5 year old's entire vacation!

The Owner told me she likes people to email her so that she can give a price depending on how it fits into the home's availability calendar.
