My DD and I were at the Yacht Club to drop off some items to a friend in the executive offices and decided to have lunch out near Stormalong Bay at Hurricane Hanna's snack bar.
We got an order of kid's chicken strips which came with a bag of chips, a grilled chicken sandwich which also came with a bag of chips and a frozen virgin strawberry colada to share. Sandwich came with lettuce and tomato on a multi grain, sunflower seed type of bun.
Beware of the birds and ducks who want to share your lunch.
Beware that even though the menu board said "grilled chicken sandwich", it was actually a cajun spiced grilled chicken sandwich. After taking a bite, I almost just took it back but got a knife and scraped off most of the seasoning and it was good.
Seating area is small, about 8 or 9 tables, but people were eating and leaving, not hanging around so they turned quickly. Also very clean, no garbage on the ground, condiment stand was cleaned twice while we were there.
Overall, it was a good, relaxing lunch and we'd eat there again. Frozen virgin strawberry colada was great on a hot day. Total was $15.50.
