We only have one day at Disney in July and want to do Everest at AK and then spend the day at MK. WE have a dinner ADR at 'Ohana and I figured an ADR at Donald's would help get us beat the mad rush to the ride. It is an EMH for the AM and we are staying off site. I was thinking to get an ADR for 745-8....what do you think? Also Reviews of this breakfast would be great...thanks in advance!

Not on a EMH AM--onsite or off for lodging. I made that error once--the lines are soooooo long and not all turnstiles are open. By the time we got seated for our 8:15 ADR it was 10:30--it was over crowded and miserable. I would go on a non EMH AM any day and have with no difficulty, but the EMH just adds to the choas. As for the food--we have always found it fresh, and plentiful, CM's attentive and great character interaction.

I agree......well, kind of. :teeth:
We went on a non-EMH day, and were seated right away for our 8:00 ADR, I left and got FP's for EE, while DH stayed to do autographs and pictures. IT worked out great!! The experience at Donald's, however, was so far the worst ever had at a character meal for us. It was chaotic, I hate how the buffet is set up...I dont know it seemed a very small space, and a huge line, and then you had to run back to your table because the characters were coming.....I would have been happier, showing up at opening with breakfast already eaten. But you learn and get on with your life........Crystal Palace breakfast, though, is awesome, cant wait to do that again :thumbsup2

We loved Donalds Breakfastosaurus. :lovestruc

It was our first character breakfast on our very first day at Disney and it was a perfect start to the holiday.

Our server was fab, the restaurant was great and the food was yummy. :thumbsup2

Character interaction was also excellent. My son then aged 4 was at the buffet line when Mickey came out. He took my son by the hand and walked with him back to the table. It was a lovely moment for us and him. :cloud9:

I would, however, agree that you would be better going on a non EMH morning as the park will be busier. I am pretty sure the earliest time for breakfast here is 8.00am.

Had breakfast there in May it was great.
