My family and I have recently ate at the 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Flordian Resort. We ate at dinner and at breakfast to compare how they were.
We first ate there for breakfast, my family and I enjoyed our meal and the characters (Mad Hatter, Marry Poppins, Alice, Pooh, and Tigger) were wonderful. There was a variety of food, and it was delicious as well. I was celebrating my birthday at the time, and even though im not a child, or in my teens any more they gave me a place mat which was signed by the characters, a button that said it was my birthday, a tiara, and a cupcake. Even though that all these items that they gave me were appreciated, it was what they did a little latter that surprised me. One of the cast members went on mic and told everyone in the restaurant that it was my birthday and had everyone sing to me. I highly recommend this for little ones, they will be so happy when this happens to them. What i also found was when i wore this pin all day many of the cast members said happy birthday princess. I found it to be cute, especially when it was someone that was my age and also good looking ;) .
When we ate there for dinner, i thought it was worth it for the characters. This is the only place where one can find Cinderella, Prince Charming, Cinderella's step mother and step-sisters all at one place. If your little princess is a bing fan of Cinderella, this is completly worth it all the characters come to the table and chat with your party. I found the step-mother to be the best. The food was ok, but the rest was good.
Overall i think that these are one of the best places to eat (character dining wise) on property. I thought the food was great at breakfast and the characters were good at dinner.

same thing here, can't wait my best friend to meet the Madhatter, she adores him.... and he can't be find at the parks easily, so going in there would be great.... by the way,.... I have to wait for 2 years also...:goodvibes

Thank you SO MUCH for this review!

I was second guessing this choice but now I'm very happy I am sticking with it.

That's us! We have 2 years to plan. We didn't get to 1900 so it's on our list. Thanks for the review!

You are all very welcome, any other reviews I can help with just left me know. I have been to almost every character dining experience.

We had sort of a mixed bag there. The breakfast food was better than the dinner food which was just OK. However the dinner characters were awesome!!! Now if they could do the dinner characters with the breakfast food that would be perfect:thumbsup2

Thanks for the review. DH wants to do more TS breakfasts for our upcoming trip. I was considering this, you have helped persuade me. :goodvibes

My family has been to 1900 Park Fare for dinner on more than once and I'm surprised to hear people say that the food was not great. Its usually our first stop and that may affect our opinion, but we've loved every meal. The prime rib is usually to die for and the kids love the food for them also. You are all right though, the characters at dinner are worth the trip alone.

The Park Fare dinner is worth it just for the Stepsisters Anastasia and Drusilla. They are absolutely hilarious. And the Evil Stepmother is very good too. I love Cindy of course, but the stepsisters and stepmother are awesome to see.

Totally agree!!! I didn't care so much about the food that night, but those step-sisters totally made it for me. I was scolded by Anastasia for letting my family go up to get their food and she was quite upset by the fact that they were not sitting with me to greet her. She was yelling that we were "just a bunch of rule breakers" and when Drizella came by a bit later she said "oh you are the ones my sister told me about, you rule breakers!!"

Oh, it was hilarious. And the step-mother giving everyone that "look" was just priceless. I highly recommend the dinner too!!

Oh I'm so glad you did this :) I have arranged Breakfast there for my DS on his 17th birthday, I hope we have as good an experience as you did.

We also did 1900 Park Fare for my 40th for breakfast the end of February and they did the same thing for me except I received a crown. The woman who announced my birthday was great. The MadHatter was an absolute riot and did everything with a straight face which made it even more entertaining. He sat down in the booth next to our DS9 who thought it was great. Our DD4 wasn't too enamored with him though and shied away from, probably because he has loud and had a giant hat on. Tigger and Pooh came by twice, Mary Poppins and Alice came by once. The food was good and there was something for all three of our picky eaters.

Thanks for the review!!! As a first timer for a family vacation there, It's difficult to decide... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

I just wanted to upload my pic of the experience I had at Disney for my birthday for breakfast as well as pictures of Dinner.
