Does any one know where Reunion community is located I have heard it talked about but have no idea where it is?i

It is off exit #58 on I4 W, it is located on 532.

VERY exclusive resort. I believe renting out for some high amount of over $1000 A NIGHT!!

Very beautiful resort though. I think the builders are Park Square Homes.

HI...I think a grand a night is bit much, but it is very fancy new "billion" dollar development with 3 signature golf courses. It has lots of fancy condos, single family homes. and fancy townhouses.

from Disney turn south on Old Lake Wilson road, go past Wyndam Palms a mile or so and you will see it as you cross I-4..No entrance or exit off I-4. You can get to it off I-4 by taking the Champions Gate exit and then heading north on Lake Wilson Rd...

Golf rates are about $200-300 night including golf in the condos...

I've stayed at Reunion Resort and Club. It is beautiful resort with wonderful amenities, including their own water park. Depending on the season, you can rent a 3 bedroom townhouse (villa) for about $350 and up a night which is probably less than if you needed two rooms at Disney. You can also stay in a 1 or 3 bedroom condo or a private home. The resort is only 12 minutes from Main Gate Disney by back roads. It has two completed, magnificent golf courses (the third is under construction). You can check out their rates their website.

Another advantage to staying at Reunion is that you have a house (or apartment) with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. You can have some meals (such a breakfast) for a lot less than if you are staying at a Disney resort. There is a Publix supermarket about 5 minutes from Reunion where you can pick up food, snacks and water and a number of fast food or chain restaurants 10-15 minutes away -- you can even get take-out and bring it back to the house. A BIG savings -- food at Disney (as we all know) can be outrageously expensive.

We'll be staying at Reunion in January and we can't wait! We took a tour of a model home in July 2004 - the guy we were renting from on Formosa Gardens was having a home built there and he took us to the model home and arranged for us to have a (free ) round of golf.

Ever since, I've been desparate to stay there and I've trawled the internet looking for private rentals. I eventually found one I wanted to rent. It's way cheaper to rent directly with the owner than through the resort, although still not exactly cheap!

Hi, UKDeb and Thank you for the warm invite! The name sounds familiar but i'm not sure. I actually work Reservation Sales in Reunion. So if people are interested in staying at Reunion Resort I assist them with their plans and book a rental for them! How is it there in the UK?
