Reunion Resort-Carriage Pointe

Has anyone stayed in the Carriage Pointe town homes in Reunion Resort? From the map it looks like it is right off Old Lake Wilson Road. How far to the water park area? Would you recommend any other area? We are only in need of a 2/3 bedroom.

I have never been to reunion. I was very interested in staying there but went with Windsor Hills. They layout of the townhouse and the face that the townhouses have their own splash pool was the deciding factor for us. We booked Mickey's World 2. Dina has been easy to deal with and people here have reccommended it.

We also love Windsor Hills but are interested in staying with a group at Reunion this time as one of our friends are owners there.

We stayed at Reunion Resort this summer and loved it. The resort is beautiful. The water park is great especially for little ones. Right now I can't remember the name of the section we were in. We did drive to the water park. We rented a 3 bedroom condo from an individual that I learned about on the disboards. We plan on returning next summer to Reunion.

We've stayed at Reunion several times. Carriage Pointe is off Old Lake Wilson, but not accessible directly from it other than within the resort itself, if that makes sense. It's all walkable, but it's fairly spread out. Carriage Pointe is a bit further from the water park than the condos at Reunion Square (which are right next to it) and Centre Court Ridge. Those at Reunion Square are newer. Then there are the condos within Reunion Grande, although they're probably more expensive. We were lucky enough to get a ridiculously cheap opening rate. Our other stays have been in homes on Homestead.

Reunion defies description. It's fair to say, though, it's in a completely different league to even the most upscale of the villa communities.

Thanks -- we did book a 3 bed townhome at Carriage Pointe. We have the convenience of the Carriage Pointe pool and our kids are older and can walk to the water park if necessary. Can't wait for March!
