Returning rental car to Nat'l at Dolphin

I am considering returning our rental car to the National office at the Dolphin after our cruise, then getting a towncar or other transportation to MCO after a day at Epcot. How easy (or not) is it to return a car to this location? I am used to using Budget and being able to pull into the garage at MCO, grab out our luggage, have the agent glance over the car and sign off on the receipt then we are gone. Is it similar at National at Dolphin or ??

Returning a car at the Dolphin couldn't be easier. Jou just leave the car in the parking lot, go to the desk right off the lobby, hand them the keys (or the valet ticket if you used the service), and that's it! I can't remember if we had to sign any paperwork or not. When we did it in Sept. 2003, I kept thinking we must be missing something because it was so easy!!

Last June we were told just to go to the valet. Then tell them your returning your rental car. It was that easy.

Is your flight the day after your cruise? If so, is the flight time close enough to the end of the 24 hr rental period that you can just drop the car at the airport?

Returning at car to the dolphin is easy, except if you are going to pay in cash or traveler's cheques. If you are using a credit card you just sign in. If you are going to pay in cash or TC you cannot leave the car at the Dolphin as they do not have any facilities for payment. You would have to return the car to the the Car Care Centre by the MK if paying with cash or TC. (or take the car back to the airport)
