Returning a shirt

Sorry wasn't sure where to put this, so here it is. I bought a t-shirt in AK on my trip in Nov. When I got home I thought I had lost it. I called lost and found at AKL (where we stayed) and general lost and found. They couldn't find it. The wonderful husband that I have called and bought me a new one (of course the shipping was almost as much at the t-shirt). Then I discovered it in with some stuff that Santa had left. This was 2 days after my DH had already bought me a new one. I am planning a trip in Jan. So my question is: Can I return the t-shirt at anyplace in WDW or do I have to bring it back to AK where I bought it. I wasn't sure if we would be going to AK, it's a very short trip. Thanks. I know there's nothing we can do about the shipping.

I think you can return it, I would try the World of Disney (If that is what it's called...the big store in Downtown Disney). I work at a daycare and one of the parents bought a ring on their trip, and it broke, and I brought it to DW for them and exchanged it for another one about 6 months later on my trip. i don't think you wil lhave a problem, but I could be wrong.

You shouldn't have a problem returning to almost any store on Disney property.
Along with a receipt. It's all about inventory management, and I believe all of
the Disney shops access the same database. That said, it might even be worth
a shot taking it to a Disney store to see if they can help you, if there is one near you. I know first hand. We bought an Ellenshaw painting at DTD 4 years ago, had it shipped home, it encountered a blemish. We returned it to the Disney store in Manchester, CT. Another one was shipped to us from the Ames, Iowa store. They're pretty good in merchandise management. Good Luck.

Are the Disney Stores accepting park returns now that they are owned by Children's Place?

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will try my local Disney Store. We don't have a lot of time when we go and if it's one less thing I have to do, it's more time on the rides!!!! Plus they are probably having an after Christmas sale and it gives me a reason to shop! Happy New Year everybody. pirate:

For now they are...but who knows for how long??? I want to say that there is a 30 day return policy if you are taking it to the Disney Store instead of WDW. You can bring it to anywhere on WDW's property with your recp't

You cannot return park merchandise at the Disney store. Your receipt states that on the back.

Maybe not at all stores, but I just did it on Wed of this week & Wed of the week before. The first was a key chain that I later found out my daughter already had the other was a charm that was given to me by my daughter that I had... there were no problems doing the return. The back of the recp't states that it can be returned at any EXCEPT Disney Stores in Central Fl.
