Return to the Scene of the Crime: The Lurkyloos’ First Anniversary at WDW! New VIDEO!

I'm glad DH was feeling better and you didn't get sick too. Bummer about that cake. It looks good from your picture!

www.disneyresortcollection.com - I just bought the pillows today. They're heavenly! Someday I'll buy the bed.. it's so comfy!!!

Ooh, girl!! DH and I are in the market for a new bed, and you might have just picked one out for us! How cool is it that each one is custom made?!? That means I don't have to buy the one that a bunch of other STANKY behinds have wallered around on. Whoo Hoo!!!

oh! Tracy beat me to it!! I was FORCED to cook dinner before I could run upstairs and check my disneysheetporn book

Sorry Betsy! I literally have been obsessed with the beds at the Boardwalk ever since I went a couple months ago and frequent that site - dreaming of my dream bed. I finally caved and bought pillows. I knew that damn site by heart! Pathetic, but soon to have a great nights sleep!

Seriously, I have never slept so well in my life as I did when I was at the BW. Those beds are HEAVENLY :cloud9: If I could afford it, I'd buy it right now. So, if you can... do it!!! and let me please live vicariously through you.

Sorry for the hijack Carrie. Now back to your regularly scheduled TR. :goodvibes

ahhh those pictures of the ominous clouds bring back memories. Not good ones mind you but lets just think about that chocolate peanut butter cake picture! MMMMM yummy!

they are dreamy!! I have a mattress topper and that makes my beg like a cloud..but I want the pillows too..which ones do they have at BWI?? there are 3 versions on the site

oops..here I am molesting the TR again!

I know – I wish I could find them someplace else. They make chocolate ones and peanut butter ones too!

Wait! They have peanut butter ones? That could be BAD!. I love me some peanut butter. As much as I go to WDW, why have I not had one? Or seen one? It's probably a good thing I haven't...lol

Those World Showcase pics are great. I especially love the one of jolly olde England.
So sad about your peanut butter cake...............:sad2: It looked really good.

My BFF got me a blank vinylmation Mickey when she was at WDW in Dec. It's signed by somebody. Pretty cool like a little blank whitish grey Mickey dude. I had no idea what it was as I hadn't seen them so she had to splain' it to me. I agree with Patrick. I think Kermie is the cutest one.

That's possibly enough motivation to get Will to go to WDW! :rotfl:

After this depressing news, we were so out of sorts that, without thinking, we picked up FastPasses for Soarin’ despite our M.O. that we don’t need to ride it at Epcot cuz we have it in California.

Is the Soarin' in Epcot any different than ours here? Or is that one California too?

YAY....I just found your trip report. I just read the entire thing! We are staying in the Tree houses Nov. 1 - 5th. You are more then welcomed to stop by and check it out!

Your trip report is great, I love it....can't wait to read more!:surfweb:

I saw this cake on your other TR and we tried to find it on our mid Dec trip and they didn't have it. :sad1:

:sad2: Wow, I wish I'd known back in September that I would never see that cake again - I woulda eaten a bunch more! Wait... maybe it's good I didn't...

oh! Tracy beat me to it!! I was FORCED to cook dinner before I could run upstairs and check my disneysheetporn book
and now that I have the "story" behind your blogspot..it all makes sense!! I love the peanutbutter thingy..i must try to find if they make it somewhere else in just 60 days from today!!!!

Oooh! Let me know! It was the peanut butter frosting that really made it...

Yes. Yes, you do. Please make the check payable to Andrea, and I'll get it in the mail to you! :cutie:

:rotfl2:

Yet another Disney food that I will just have to learn to make myself. As it turns out, I like my version of Epcot Catering's chocolate-peanut butter marshmallow squares even better than theirs! :thumbsup2

:rotfl: Oh my goodness! I need to figure out how to work "stanky" and "wallered" into my vocabulary....

You know what I like on that site is that Grand Floridian shampoo and conditioner! But you can get it cheaper straight from H20 - or on eBay.... :cutie:

Aw..... I was totally thinking about your wedding all day! In the morning I was like "Well, OK, her wedding isn't until afternoon - maybe it'll clear up!" and then in the afternoon, when it started to rain, I was so sad. But then I saw from your posts on the weddings board that it turned out you liked your rain backup location even better!

Hijacking = :thumbsup2

Molesting = :crazy2:

I think they may be Disney's real best-kept secret. People seem to focus on the candy apples and pretzel rods at Goofy's Candy Co., but when I found out they had giant Oreos, I didn't care if I even got it dipped in anything!

That's really cool - you should hang on to it til it's worth enough to sell on eBay! :lmao:

Is the Soarin' in Epcot any different than ours here? Or is that one California too?

They're identical, except at Epcot they've done a quickee edit job to eliminate the "over California" in all of Patrick Wharburton's intro dialog - lame! If you think about it, it makes more sense to have the ride at a park outside of California because it reaches more non-Californians. But I don't know why WDW is so afraid to call it what it really is - soaring over the state of California!

Hiya! So glad to see you here! I guess I will be seeing you Nov. 1-5 too! :rotfl:

I promise if I find that Kermit, I will send it to Patrick!

Awwww.... thanks! :cloud9: I just told him, and he is excited!

Because, silly! California is full of weirdos! It would scare the tourists off the ride if they saw it was about the wackness of California!

Wait...I live in California!...

...I rest my case :sad2:

So what's this vinylmation stuff? They're cute, but I don't get it.

Do you know which beds they have at BW? I'm assuming that they have the Encore Pillowtop Set. That's the one I want. Maybe by the end of the year. We need to buy nursery furniture first, and then we are getting a new set!

I'm with Beka, I have never heard of (nor do I understand) the vinylmation characters. They remind me of the "cutie" characters with the big heads I've seen lately. Not that I think they are all that cute, but I think that's what they are being called.

When I saw your Spaceship Earth picture, I thought, This trip report is sponsored by Siemens. Which reminded me I should be working. Oops.

I always stare at that part on Spaceship Earth... I don't even know if I've looked on the left (though I remember Rob saying he liked the steps)... I'm too busy wondering if Disney lengthened that skirt because it was already risque!

So, I am away a few days and was looking forward to your anniversary surprises, but still not there yet :sad1:

Despite the disappointment, I really enjoyed your overview of the DVC experience and your solo time at DHS. DH and I have this same struggle with DVC, its a dream (at least for me) to own it but still not practical yet. (Pesky, grad school student loans :headache:) Anyway, on the bright side I figure if I'm still going to Disney on a regular basis I'm happy even if I don't have the comfort of knowing I have DVC. I still have been hesitant about renting points, but I am hoping to do it on a future trip very soon.

I had my first solo day in the World at the end of our trip a few weeks ago. I also didn't get a very friendly waitress (at the Plaza in MK) but I had a great time interacting with the cast members. Okay, I admit I'm a character person and I decided that when I was alone it was the best time to stand in line for pictures with :tink: Tinkerbell (after all my DH would think its a total waste of time.) I definitely got some looks in that line waiting by myself for 45 minutes!

I love PB icing too.

Thought I have to throw in a pic of DS's 5th bday cake.......I made it ( I'm not a decorator so excuse the amatuer's 1st attempt)
yummy peanut butter icing
