Oh my lord. Small dogs and puppets. Two of my favorite things. Next time you should get some video of Huck and his puppet pal so we can see them in action!
I think the last picture looks like an album cover.

I love it! But, like most albums with arresting covers, I wonder - can the music actually be any good?

I also love the puppet's expression in that pic. That is how good a puppeteer DH is - he can give an inarticulate lump with fixed eyes an expression!

I was so excited to see it, but I wouldn't be surprised it, after we left, they replaced it with a ginormous picture of Huck sleeping on his back with all his paws in the air or something...

What a great visit!! Huck looks like a lovey little furball. I love doggy affection! I mean that in the least weird way!!

I contacted the Roots about the AK pics you posted, but I haven't heard anything back.

Hmmm.... maybe the dog ate their email? No, I'll bet they just have an email backlog right now...

Thanks for your thoughts, we'll definitely have to try BCV. The pool alone looks worth it. Yes, you can have a very long walk at BWI/BWV, let me just say that the walk to the Attic seemed short compared to the walk to one room we had!

Lovely update! Just what I needed - and thankfully, not too much food porn. My waistline isn't sure it can make it through your entire TR!

And I love post about the Roots stashing lovely portraits of clients to yank out whenever said clients stop by. That would be genius! Make a note to check their closets next time you visit them!

Gotta admit I'm more partial to San Diego. I miss CA, but it's nice to be back in the South.

Oh, and the Farmer's Market is fun! I also remember some area down Sunset that was an open-air shopping area that had Anthropologie. Good shopping there. I think I would have liked LA better had I have been with someone who could have shown me around, but we were fending for ourselves. We did hit the Laugh Factory & saw Dane Cook before he got "big".

Disneyland is in the works as we speak. Last year, I only got one day there, so this year, we are planning two days. We are figuring out the dates of the trip. I would love to meet up with ya at either DL or the Farmer's Market. I will send you a pm when we get our dates/plans all figure out.

Huck is ADORABLE!!! And i have a nephew named Damian! Yeah....it was kinda freaky....and odd now too since he's the biggest wimpy 6 yr old boy around! Totally didn't live up to the "Omen"

My Grandmother does this with pictures of her Grandchildren! If I am there to visit her, then my picture is hanging up front and center, but if one of my cousins (there are 11 of us) goes to visit their picture is!

I wouldn't blame Roots for doing the same thing!

Thanks for the links to the roots blog on their LA whirlwind tour with you guys. I loved Patrick's kermie apron & the Griffith Park Obs pics. That was a great place to visit & I even made an attempt at one of those artsy shots like they had so I am proud of myself after seeing the pros shot.

I think Roots should hire themselves out to follow people around and take their vacation shots! Even the photos taken in their house are amazing!!
