Return of the Keelboats soon?

Member "it is time" posted this photo on Disney Central Plaza.

It shows 3 cm's navigating the Raccoon Keelboat on the Rivers of the Farwest, past thursday!!

Rumours go that the keelboats will return with Mark Twain in March!!

I've never seen the keelboats operating, since they were withdrawn very quickly.

It would be great to see more activity on the Rivers - though that wouldn't be difficult at the moment!!! If they do, it's a strange thing to bring back and after so long too.

Hope so - it would be nice to have something else to try.

Have seen a lot of rumours about the Mark Twain being back in action in March, so fingers crossed for that - it must seem very strange not to see or hear the Paddle Steamers going around BTM.

We went on one of the steamboats last time but I have never seen these little keelboats

We were lucky enough to go on the keelboats in May of 1993 - would be great to see them back and the Mark Twain.

I can claim no knowledge in this area for DLP, but am wary since the reason they were pulled was likely connected to the one that capsized in California.

Ralfrick: not really because the Keelboats have been off and on frequently since that one capsized. My guess is that it's a money thing.
