AHHHHH Day three, Castaway Cay, nuff said, I don't really need to write any more right?

Yeah, yeah I know, don't get all worked up! I love Castaway Cay, I love the excitement of the morning, knowing what was ahead of us made it only better! We head to Beach Blanket for Breakfast, shot of the girls off the back of the ship:

The morning as you can see is about as near perfect as it gets. We are doing the sting ray excursion again first session at 10 but we wanted to get on the beach and claim our spot as early as we can. Thankfully for us MIL and FIL agree and are up to take pics for us:

This day is my Father in Law's Birthday, the big 60! Lots of fun, he takes this shot of my sweet girls on the way to the beach:

The girls remember how quick the beach fills up and how nice it is to get a sweet spot so they are ready to book it and get there! We claim our spot, the girls are happy:

And so are we!

We had a 9:00 AM stingray excursion. The kids are coming (they bailed pretty early last time but said they wanted to do it) and the weather is getting a bit patchy. Getting a little windy and starting to rain a bit. I figure no big deal we are getting wet anyway:

The kids last a little longer than before but they bail again, this time, grandpa takes them to the little mini golf place. They have a great time and so do we.

The weather gets a little bit better and soon it is time for lunch, my little niece decides to make her own hidden Mickey:

And mini me remembers the cookie dough ice cream (man could I use some of that right now!)

We have a fantastic afternoon, my BIL, oldest daughter and I really go over the snorkel trail, it was great! I didn't get to hit that last time. Tons of great things to see, well worth the time.

The afternoon wanes on, we want to get back to the ship for down time as we know it is a long day culminating with the till we meet again party. We take our kids back an get a fun shot with Goofy in front of the Christmas tree:

Disney Dreams is awesome as always and the til we meet again party is great! We get a great shot of my FIL with Donald (his name is Donald) that we put in a frame with a matt signed by all of the gang to celebrate his birthday! A great way to end the day!

The next day we get off the ship and head to Orlando. We got tickets to Sea World (two day passes) Had a great time there on Thanksgiving, including thanksgiving dinner at Ci Ci's Pizza! Friday we drove back.

This was a great trip and the fears I had about Disney "dropping the ball" when we made such a big deal about it never came to pass but three nights is just too dang short. I've got to do a loner trip next time!

Great trip report! I'm glad you came back and finished it. I love the outfits your girls are wearing. Those black dresses are gorgeous.

BTW, how is teaching working out for you? Are you still happy with your decision to leave your practice?

I LOVE TEACHING! I feel like I am doing what I was created to do, I love the work, I love the Latin, I love the kids so much. I don't regret the at all.

That's really great to hear! It's always a good feeling when you enjoy going to your job every day. I have that same feeling...I love teaching and know it's what I was meant to do. That was after years of another career.
