Return flights are 45 min apart. Can we ride DME together?

DH and I have return flights 45 minutes apart. He is flying home and I am visiting my mother. Will they let us ride the same DME bus back to the airport? We always get to the airport so early I was thinking of putting in a departure time right in the middle if our flights but don't want to complicate things. Last time we took DME they printed out boarding passes and delivered them without us asking so I dont want to give any info that will mess with their system .Any advice?

Yes he can ride with you. Just tell them that everyone is on the your flight. No need to tell Disney he is on a different flight. You can check in for your flight the night before and that same night go to the front desk and ask them to print your boarding passes.

The easiest way to do this is to just tell the DME folks when you make your reservations that your flights are the same time. That will assure they assign you to the same bus. Otherwise there is a possibility that you won't be able to get on the earlier bus due to capacity.

DME goes by the flight number for the time so you can't give them a time in between. You could give them the earlier flight number for both.
