Retro Epcot Videos - Horizons, Imagination, World of Motion

Hey everyone at the Dis!

I hope this is ok to post here, since we're not "selling" anything, just sharing some videos we've posted, but I really think you all might be interested in these.

One of our users has just cut together some really nice "retro" Epcot videos from some footage taken in 1984, and IMO, these are the best of these types of videos I've seen.

You DO have to be a TPR member to download them, but I think it's well worth the 15 seconds it takes to join. We do this so we don't go over our bandwidth each month.

Again, we're not selling anything so I hope it's ok to post these links. The videos are totally FREE and I really thought some of the people here would enjoy seeing some long lost Epcot attractions. I know the original Journey and Horizons were favorites of many people (I know they were mine) and I really did appreciate seeing these again.

What? No it didn't! Are you sure you clicked on the right thing? The videos are totally free and there is nothing you have to buy in order to view them!

All I can think about is you may have a virus on your machine that just happened to pop up something at the same time your registered giving you an add.

The videos are .wmv files that play in your windows media player. Did anyone else have this problem???

There is NOTHING TO BUY!!!

I don't think we experienced it though when we went in '86 .

I tried it again. When when i hit download a message came up that said i needed to purchase software to run it. It said that i could have a free 40 day trial and after the 40 days i would need to either cancel or purchase it. It also asked for a credit card number even for the 40 day trial. I am soooo not computer literate. Could it be my computer system telling me that i need the software? I have a Dell with windows. I know I sound completely dumb. I am actually an intelligent person with 2 bachelor degrees so please don't think less of me. I am 34 and can't/don't like this new technology world. I was so happy with my typewriter and phone with a cord. LOL
I will have my husband try it. I want to see the old Journey to Imagination. I got my kids excited. I am happy for those that get to experience the old magic again!! I wish that i could too!

Robb, Great videos! I wonder how many hours of early Disney video tape are gathering dust on peoples shelves, never been looked at since that holiday?

Disney should gather it all together and make some more memories!
