Resurrecting old Park Hopper Pluses

I was at WDW in 1999 and my family bought Park Hopper Plus passes. We used all the park days on them, but none of the "Plus" options. Am I correct in thinking that these options don't expire?

Second question. My mom has glued the aforementioned passes in a scrapbook. If I can somehow get the serial numbers from them, would I be able to get the passes reissued? Can this only be done at the parks or could I go to a Disney Store?

Third question. Say I can do all that and I have my new passes in hand. They have my last name on the back (or, the ones we had in '99 did). Do they ever check ID to make sure your name matches the name on the pass?

Okay I might be wrong,ever once in awhile I am , in 1999 when you had a Hopper Plus you had to use the PLUS options 7 days after the activation date of the Hopper.So your tickets aren't any good now.

A good ticket tip...when getting your tickets make copies of the front and back of your tickets.If,God forbid, you lose your ticket you have this proof and Disney will reissue another hard copy ticket exactly as the one you lost.

As far as ID goes,I've never had to show ID but now for Adults WDW entries have the finger scan thing.

Add this to the "once in a while I am" file.

The ticket Baloo is describing was the 5 day World Hopper Passport. The 5-day World Hopper Passport could be used to enjoy a total of up to 12 days at WDW for the price of 5. To use it for 12 days, you would go to the minor parks for 7 consecutive days first and then use the 5-day major parks portion of the ticket for 5 more days. The 7 days had to be consecutive, the 5 days could have been any time that you wanted as long as it was after the initial 7 days to get 12 total days out of it. But the 5 Day World Hopper Passport ceased being sold in August of 1997.

WDW did change their admission media in 1999 though:

If the OP purchased their tickets prior to May of 1999, they were All-In-One Passports. The All-In-One Passport was good for *only* the number of days purchased on the ticket - 5, 6, or 7. So a 5-day All-In-One would get you into 8 parks (MK, EC, MGM, BB, TL and PI. It also used to let you into River Country and Discovery Island before they closed) with all the park hopping you want between the major and minor parks for 5 days. Unused days never expired. This ticket stopped being sold in May of 1999.

If the OP purchased them after May of 1999, then he has the regular Park Hopper Plus passes that we still know and love toady. Of course, unused days never expire.

Yes, you can. If the serial numbers are not readable, then they would have to be able to scan the magnetic strip on the back of the tickets. If they can't do either, you will be out of luck.

Disney Stores can't help you with this. It can only be done at a Guest Relations window/office at the parks or at DTD.

You shouldn't have a problem.

Well we were there in February of 99 so it sounds like I'm out of luck. Thanks for your help anyway
