My husband and I will be traveling to DW with our 2 boys( 5 & 8) in a week and we are staying off grounds. Does anyone have any good restaurants to recomend that are off grounds. Thanks to anyone that can help!

Ramano's Macaroni Grill in LBV on 535 (next to Joe's Crab Shack) is AWESOME!

We like the old stand-by's like Olive Garden and Chili's. Chili's has a pretty good kids menu from what I remember. A lot of these restuarants do take out too, so if you don't want to eat in the restaurant for whatever reason, that's a good option too. We did Olive Garden take out the last time we were there and it was nice to just call it in and not have to wait for a table, then waiter, then food... Sometimes when it's really busy take out is the way to go!

Orlando will have just about anything you want....national chains like TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, Applebees. Then there are the specialties that have a show and a meal: Medeivel Times, Arabian Nights. If you wanted to stay close to WDW and not pay any park admission, you could do Downtown Disney and go to the Rainforest Cafe. That's a very neat experience for kids your age and you make ressies through their chain 1-800 number.

your children will love the rainforestcafe. if you haven't been there before(we went for the first time last year) they have animals(animatronic) that make sounds and it lightenings and thunders every hour or so (maybe less). they also have aquariums. my youngest loved it. it is alittle pricey but it is worth it.we are going back again this year.
