ok, so me and my boyfriend are just going for a one day visit to disneyland paris, i have only a one day park hopper complimentary ticket for each of us from my time as cast member in disney world.

so that'll be the saturday all day

so we arrive next friday late afternoon, my boyfriend wants to go for a nice meal in the evening somewhere and then go back to the hotel for mayb champagne so does anyone have any ideas of restaurants around the area where explorer's hotel is or a short taxi ride away?

thanks for your help in advance:hippie:

Hi Jane1 . Elaine, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

With only one day to visit the park and especially since it will be a weekend so busy. I would pick a nice Disney restaurant. California Grill at the Disneyland Hotel is not cheap, but is recommeded by many :)

I am one of the people who would recommend the California Grill.... It is such a lovely restaurant with fantastic food.... It is certainly not cheap though!

Another option would be the Chicago Steakhouse in the Disney Village- It is lovely with fantastic food!

thank you very much for your help! :) i can't wait! and yeh we don't have that much money unfortunately, but i suppose we cud use the money we wer going to buy the park tickets with (which i dont' need because of my complimentary tickets :D) to have a nice meal there. do you need tickets to get in though? i'm only going into disneyland on saturday

Hi. I heartily recommend Inventions in the Disneyland Hotel. It has THE absolute scrummiest food. It also overlooks entrance to park. It is one of the more expensive restaurants at DLP but so so worth it!!! Also, no you do not need tickets to get in but you do need to book it. enjoy your time at DLP!

hey there, thanks!

btw where's islandmagee lol i've never heard of it before in northern ireland. :confused3
