Are there any that are worth checking out? We are staying at BWV and are not doing DDP so are thinking these places might be a good option to check out.

Any opinions?

Click the Nosh link in my signature and then the link in my index for Todd English's bluezoo™. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I had a wonderful dinner there.

I agree, bluezoo is excellent. I've also heard rave reviews about Shula's (not going there as they bring live lobsters around the tables and I'm terrified of those ugly things). Also, we enjoyed Il Mulino the one time we ate there.

Bluezoo is excellent. Pricey, but it's Disney World so that's relative.

Kimonos, sushi place, is very good as well -- if you like sushi! They have some non-sushi choices too, like tempura veggies. Menu is on Swan & Dolphin website. The kareoke does not start until after 9pm so you do not have to enjoy that part if it isn't your thing.

We've enjoyed the Garden Grove for b'fast buffet. I think it's quite good (yummy eggs benedict) & you get DVC 20% discount. They have a character meal on the weekends. We have 2 young girls so the character meal is cheaper & not so much of a rushed atmosphere like Cape May. Might do it this next trip as we are staying at BWV.....last time, we just walked over & had a 20 min. wait at 8:30 in the morning.....

Oh goodness, yes.

IMO, The Dolphin has some of the best restaurants on the property.

From great burgers at The Fountain, to *amazing* seafood at bluezoo.

Plus, if you're a steak lover, Shula's can't be beat. (Although, it helps if you're a steak lover with a big wallet. ;))

Psssst... Some really great places have been mentioned already (bluezoo is one of my favorites!). However, nobody's mentioned one of the hidden gems of the Dolphin -- the Cabana Bar & Grill. The drinks are excellent and I've had some really tasty lunches there, too. Now don't tell too many people about it! ;)

Restaurants at Swan/Dolphin are fantastic.

We love Blue Zoo, IL Mulino for dinner.
Garden Grove for lunch.

We have had burgers/sandwiches at Fountain, they are ok, we much prefer the burgers and fries at Picabo.

The quick breakfast at picabo is a step above what you get in EPCOT for a quick breakfast.

We have eaten at Shula's only once, (and recently), like Yachtsman steakhouse, we found it horrible, so that is one restaurant we won't return to.

Also, being at BWV's, it is easy to eat at Flying Fish, ESPN or Big River.

They have some of the best restaurants at the World.

Il Mulino
BlueZoo
Shula's
Garden Grove character breakfast
and excellent burgers at both The Fountain and The Cabana (Dolphin)

The only lousy meal I have ever had at a Swan or Dolphin restaurant was when we went to Garden Grove at 8:30pm one time. Food was cold and picked over and the staff wasn't into it.

Figured I would start with the only negative, because the rest of the restaurants are OUTSTANDING! Il Mulino is the best Italian on property, Shula's is the best steakhouse on property, Fresh is one of the best breakfasts on property, The Fountain is a better (and nicer) version of Beaches & Cream, and Picabu is the only 24 hour service on property and has some good choices too. Never been to Kimonos, but supposedly it is the best sushi on property.
