Whether you love scifi for its wacky, once in a lifetime, dining experience, or California grill for the amazing view of the fireworks, what are your favorite spots to eat at disney and why? Also, have you found a special spot at any particular restaurant, like a quiet back patio over looking the water or an awesome view of the aquarium at Coral Reef that you wouldn't mind sharing. We are travelling there in May and I am looking for suggestions of places to book. I havent been to WDW very many times (I have way more of these suggestions for disneyland if anyone needs em) but I have always loved Scifi since I was a kid! How about you?

Restaurant views:
. . . Bistro - window table overlooking lake
. . . Citricos - window table overlooking marina
. . . Il Mulino - left side windows overlooking rocks
. . . Shula's - private dining room
. . . Afternoon Tea, GF - window overlooking grounds

Bar/Lounge Views:
. . . Mizner's, GF - windows overlooking GF grounds
. . . Territory Lounge, WL - no windows, just secluded and cozy
. . . Capt'n Jack's, DTD - window on water edge overlooking lake

I'm going to add Narcoossee's to this list. Excellent window view looking out at the lake and watching the Electric Water Pagent go past and then excellent viewing of Wishes. Gotta admit though it's no secret. :thumbsup2

Flame Tree BBQ- water views looking over at Expedition Everest.

Oh I forgot about the Flame Tree BBQ view! You are right! I love sitting there and just relaxing for lunch or a snack.

Columbia Harbor House, upstairs, on the "bridge" part overlooking the walking between Fantasyland and Liberty Square.

Garden Grill- rotating around, watching and smelling the beautiful Land.

Tutto Italia- an outdoor table during Illuminations

CS:

Casey's Corner during Dream Along with Mickey

Flame Tree BBQ- seating on the lake- very peaceful :cloud9:

We love the atmosphere of Biergarten in Epcot. The ambiance & theme make you feel like you're in the middle of an old German town during Octoberfest.

The waterfall at the top of the garden in Japan has a seating area for the counter service place there. Often very quiet there and so peaceful!

Nothing fancy, but I love sitting in the bridge that separates Fantasyland and Liberty Square while eating lunch and people watching. It's part of Columbia Harbour House and it seems like very few people realize that it's there.

Views aren't that important to us any more. We get great pleasure eating a full meal at the bar in Flying Fish, California Grill, Citrico's, Blue Zoo and Shula's.

#1 California Grill (best viewing of Wishes) and the food is awesome.
#2 Teppon Edo (Good food and great entertaiment), lastly great viewing area outside the restaurant for Illuminations

The wine room at California Grill offers a beautiful view of the lake and is much quieter than the main dining room.

Narcosses I love the feeling of standing on porch with family watching Wishes.

Biergarten

Trex

Window seat @ Ohana's

Outside seating @ Peco Bills during parade.

I really love the little outdoor eating area to the right of the main entrance to Tangierine. It's a pretty spot and fun for people watching. Especially nice around sunset.

I love the restaurant (San Angel Inn) inside Mexico! The mural inside is absolutely beautiful and it seems romantic to me. I think the food is good too!

You can sit and look over onto the boat ride that goes through the restaurant.

i love sitting outside at the turf club at SSR....its so peaceful overlooking the waterway to downtown disney...

Fulton's second floor window seat overlooking the lake and DTD.

The wine room at California Grill offers a beautiful view of the lake and is much quieter than the main dining room.

I second this. We had our best meal at the World (so far) in the wine room at Cali Grill. Luckily, we also got a great picture of us here to remember it by!
