We had dinner at Le Cellier this evening and when we checked in the hostess thanked us for returning and we got a thank you note. I had not heard of this before so am just curious if anyone else has received a thank you note from them or any other Disney restaurant.

I find this very interesting! I will be returning there on 12/12 and will definitely report back!

We've never gotten a thank you note, but when we ate at Tiffins on its opening weekend, we had an issue (basically, the server forgot to order our entrees) and the manager came over to apologize and said, "we know you visit WDW often and we want to make sure you are taken care of". So, they obviously can see all of our visiting histories in their system! The thank you note is a really nice touch!

Nope, we repeat a number of restaurants and have never gotten one, don't get anything in the room either. Just as an aside, they used to leave a little something in the room if you were a repeat visitor (at least at the deluxe resorts) back in the 80s. I have a whole collection of little figures sitting on my desk and waving at me I've received from them through the years. Can't remember when they stopped but since you know they track that it would be nice if they acknowledged it some way.

Yes, we received on too when we were at Le Cellier over Thanksgiving week and both the hostess and wait staff acknowledged it. Nice touch.

We had this same experience at Cali Grill Thanksgiving, plus some Mickey head confetti on the table. Agree, very nice touch :)

We had eaten dinner at Turf Club for my birthday a few years ago and as we were staying at AKL wedecided to go to Jiko and see if we could get a walk in for coffee and dessert. We ended up sitting at the counter at the kitchen. My wife told the server that it was my birthday and that we had stopped by for dessert only. We ordered our desserts and coffee and had a great time chatting with our server and the chefs working the prep stations and flatbread oven. The next day when we got back from the parks there was a handwritten note from the Jiko manager thanking us for choosing Jiko for our birthday celebration.

Weirdly, they are doing that, sometimes, again. I've read a few reports by different people from BC and *maybe* Contemporary (but I might be making that up) receiving a card and a white chocolate Mickey in their rooms.

I ate at Sci-Fi last week and the server thanked me for coming back. You know how they put notes on the tables so that the server knows who is in what party? Mine looked different than the other party that was in the first two seats of the car. I did not have a chance to look at it though since the server came by as soon as I sat down.

Yes, I received "welcome back" cards at Kona Café and Tusker House.

We had breakfast at TH yesterday for our second time and did not receive a card or at any of the other restaurants we ate for a second or third time except for LC as I mentioned when I started the thread. But, the server at Boma who also brought us to our table did thank us verbally.
