This was a Surprize Trip that DH planned for just the two of us about 2 weeks beforehand.

Sunday Breakfast: Boma, new for breakfast for us. We had 9:30 PS's and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. We started out with the frunch, it was very good. I had a cup of decaff (coffee was better at Kona's). I had the potatoes and an omelet and some bacon. I also tried some of the pastries and breads. My dh and I tried the quinoa porridge, we both liked the taste, but not the consistency. DH tried the bobotie, and didn't like it. I don't like corned beef, so I passed. The food was good, the service was eh. It took awhile for our server to clear the plates. If we were staying at the AKL again, we would eat there again, but we wouldn't go out of our way for breakfast there.

Sunday Dinner: Trails End Buffet, another new dining experience. We drove over to the TTC from AKL, and got a great parking spot. We took the ferry over to MK, and then waited about 5 minutes for the ferry to Fort Wilderness. We had about a 20 mintue wait after we checked in. We sat on the porch in rocking chairs and hung out. We were greeted by our server Bob, and very nice and "punny" guy. He was our second memorable cm on this trip. He asked us if we had ever been there before, and we told him no. He told us what was on the buffet. He called the cream of mushroom soup, cream of fungus :). I tried a little bit of everything. I don't like cream of mushroom or chili, so I passed on those items. I tried the homemade biscuits and creamed butter. I tried the carrots and broccolli, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, fried chicken, ribs, mahi mahi, chicken and dumplings, ribs and peel and eat shrimp. Everthing was very good. We wnt to try to go back in November. The pizza was very popular, people were coming in and getting them to go. I am really grateful for the disers that recommended this restaurant, it is very good, and yes, a very good price too.

This is the end of my reviews. Hope you guys enjoyed reading them as much as we did eating them!! Any questions, please ask away :).
