First I have to preface that at 11weeks pregnant I have been suffering horrendous nausea and morning sickness so I did not get to enjoy a lot of the WDW treats I love and was disapointed but better to be at WDW and nauseas than at home I said. So it was just DH and I for a long weekend at OKW.
So on with the reviews
12/10 Le Cellier lunch
Our ADR was for 2:30 and we waited another 10 min or so they were taking no walk ins for lunch but I did hear the greeter tell some people if they came back right at 4:30 they may get a walk in for dinner. All I had was the cheddar cheese soup and only managed about half of it. DH and I both thought it was a little more peppery than usual but still very tasty. DH had the prime rib sandwich and soup and loved the sandwich. It was huge and we could have easily spilt it with soup for a tasty lunch. It came with potato salad which was delicious. Prompt service but not rushed.
Lunch was $27.89 saved $6.54 with DDE.
We skipped dinner and just had a couple snacks at MGM when we went to see the Osbourne lights
12/11 Breakfast Tried to get into Olivia's at OKW for breakfast but just missed the cut off time so we scooted over to DTD. Split a belgian waffle with strawberries at Wolfgang Puck Express which was yummy. $8.81
12/11 Lunch Earl of Sandwich. We love this place. There was a huge line up but it moved fairly quickly. It was probably 10-15 minutes from the time we got in line 'til we got our food. DH had their Turkey holiday special sandwich which had stuffing and cranberries. He loved it. I had the Club but only ate about half. We also split one potato salad $13.42
12/11 Dinner at Kona Cafe before MVMCP
I had the chowder and a kids grilled cheese. DH had the macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi which he said was amazing. We waited about 5 min to be seated as the restaurant was just opening for dinner. Great service and we were out in lots of time to catch the monorail to MVMCP. (Forgot to write down our total)
12/12 Breakfast Olivia's I just had a bowl of cereal and some toast, DH had the poached eggs over hashbrowns which he loved.
12/12 CP package at Biergarten. We had always wanted to try this place and both like German food so we did it with the CP package. Our ADR time was 5:35 and we waited about 15 min to be seated. Everything was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the cold salads (macaroni, tomato, potato) the schnitzel was also delicious. Service was speedy and we were finished in lots of time for the CP.
12/13 Breakfast Crystal Palace. We had a later ADR 10:10 and were a few minutes late so we weren't actually seated until 10:30. I think later is much better here for breakfast. They closed down one side of the buffet and the restaurant was probably 2/3 empty so there was lots of time with the characters. Towards the end of our meal we felt the servers were rusing us out a bit (assuming getting ready for lunch service) but we were well looked after. My faves here were the waffles and the french toast.
I thought I had recorded more of our totals but I can't find them, I will have to dig up some receipts and edit later.
Happy to answer any questions.
