restaurant recommendations for Vegas

I'll just throw out a little opinion here. We would rather do Vegas the cheap and sleazy way and tend to stay on the Stratosphere end of the strip for our fun. But, I will recommend the Voodoo Steak at the Rio. It has AMAZING views, great food, and free entrance to the Voodoo Lounge, which is a totally fun night spot. (My favorite place in all of Vegas is the Peppermill, however. Little 24 hour diner with an AWESOME lounge attached. Love it!)

:rotfl: Does your pair of Vegas tramp shoes have clear heels on them??? :lmao: Nuh huh, put your robe back on. :rotfl2:

:lmao: You mean stripper shoes? :rotfl2: Oh no- I'm not that hoochie - all though, they do make cute one's now that are not so stripper-ish :rotfl: . I do have the really sky high one's though :thumbsup2

I liked Voodoo, too! And the Peppermill is a great place! There many good cheap eats. There's another cheapy type place, Fireflys behind the Venetian/Wynn I believe, it's on Paradise. They are a Tapas restaurant, and all the apps are around $10, it's a great place to eat, drink and BS and try different stuff. We just saw it on 'Cops' - they where arresting someone for skipping out on the bill at RuthChris' Steakhouse in the same mall. :rotfl2:

You just have to keep going back, like Disney, cause you can't eat/see everything all in one trip.

Yes! I have special "Vegas tramp shoes", I would never wear them here. :rotfl: It's a place that you might as well have fun all the way!!! People just 'go all out there', with no shame at all. Have you ever been to a spa there? Let me just warn you, it's not for the faint of heart. Most women go nekkid in the jacuzzis. Especially when the old ladies come in and rip off their robes to reveal nekkid scary ta-tas!:scared: I took my Mom to one, and she kept saying in a really loud obnoxious Jersey way that one of them needed to put her robe back on. :rotfl2:

We should all go! :cool1:

That's one place I haven't visited, a spa. Do you have a favorite? You know the one that guarantees the most outlandish behavior with lots of scary ta-tas! :lmao: Your Mom sounds like a riot! I think I am always on the go go go in Vegas that I never associate down time (spa time) with Vegas. I'm pretty sure I barely sleep. I could miss something that way! Each trip I add a day and still its never enough. I always need a vacation after Vegas though. I must be doing something wrong.

I just want to say first- sorry for the T/J, OP!!! I hope you learned how to not be a hoochie and to keep your robe on! :rotfl:

Jessica- you MUST go!!! My favorite is at Mandalay Bay, and the one at The Hotel is wonderful, too. Guarenteed ta-tas that can be tied into balloon animals. :lmao: A spa trip is a must do. In our area spas are no where near as nice. You can spend all day there. You don't have to get a massage to go. You can pay about $35 and just hang out in it. They have saunas (they come in and give you cold cucumbers and cold washcloths dipped in lemon juice  ), steam rooms, jacuzzi, cold plunge, lounges with teas & juices and fruits. They are also equipped with blow dryers, curling irons, hair stuff. I love it. The showers are the best part - they have those jumbo heads like rain. :lovestruc It's a wonderful treat for yourself. Another good one :the Venetians' Canyon Ranch. Mandalay Bay is more tropical in feel, and The Hotel is more zen like. Look online at their website.

BE CAREFUL though - I went to the Palms and I had a hot guy massuse:faint: I swear I just couldn't relax. :confused3 I thought they just assigned you a woman. :rotfl: And the jacuzzi is outside , it's like a stage and everyone sitting at the pool can see you! :scared1: So don't go nekkid. All spas encourage nekkid but you can wear a bathing suit, trust me.

ETA- Ceasars is co-ed  not sure what's flappin in the breeze there :rolleyes1 I'm sure there is plenty of outlandish behavior !
