Im looking for thoughts, opinions, reviews on Restaurant Marrakesh in WS Morocco. I have always wanted to eat there! If i do the DestiNations Discovered tour it includes a lunch there. Will i get the full experience with just a lunch as part of a tour? Should i return for supper? It will be just my sister and I on a trip celebrating my 40th birthday. Thanks for your imput!

Check out the menu online and some of the food reviews. I have enjoyed it, but has been at least 5 years since my last visit. The belly dancing act is nice as well. In my opinion the lunch tour should be sufficient, especially with all of the many places you can dine at in EPCOT. Have a great time!

I've always enjoyed Marrakesh and been there x2 in the past year. Likely 5+ visits in total. If paying OOP, I go for lunch as the entrees are similar to dinner but better price. My fav is the Roast Lamb Meshoui and I usually order the hot mint tea service to drink. I've been there at the same time that the tour is eating. I think they are restricted to a certain set lunch (chicken kebabs?) and know that Kathy W did a review of this within the past year. I don't think she really cared for it. I would prob skip the tour and simply enjoy lunch my way. The decor inside is incredible. Don't forget to read the framed correspondence on the wall betw Gen Washington and the King just to the side of the check-in podium. I have always had exceptional service here. Maybe the best in WDW. Enjoy!

What does the "full experience" mean to you?
We have eaten here many times over the years, always at dinner. We enjoy the musicians, the belly dancer, the beautiful décor, the service and the food.
We did the DestiNations Discovered tour in October. We had a few choices of our entrees at lunch, but it was not the full menu. It also included an appetizer and dessert.
I do not think the musicians and belly dancers performed while we were there, but I am not certain. If I am wrong, I am sure someone will chime in and correct me soon.

The full experience with the belly dancers and musicians etc. I think i may add a dinner reservation! Thanks=)

We love it and try to eat there just about every time we are at WDW, if not there then Tangeriene Cafe. I lived in the Middle East for a few years and it just makes me smile to eat there (plus I get to practice my Arabic).

That's prob a good idea if its the entertainment that is key for you. I often eat an early lunch at 11:30 am opening and I can't recall seeing the belly dancer for many years. I believe the musicians may have just started to play as I was leaving. Dinner would be a safer bet for full entertainment.

This has become one of our must-do meals - it was actually my cousin's favorite out of all the places we ate at last fall. I've always gotten the shish-kebab, which has been flavorful and just enough food (with the veggies). When we were there last year, they had a lunch special - a salad, a beef brewat roll, chicken kebabs, and a dessert sampler. I don't remember the price, but it was pretty reasonable - and what won raves from my cousin!

We LOVE Restaurant Marrakesh! Only been to dinner, and think the food is delicious, but we do try to time our reservation to see the music/dancing because it really adds so much to the atmosphere of the magical Disney experience.

Check it out, this guy has it all:
