Restaurant guide please

Looking to find out about any restaurants in the Davenport area, we are staying in Bridgewater Crossing and would like to know if anyone knows of any places to eat in the general location or if it is best to stick to Orlando for eating??

If anyone has stayed around this area could you give a quick review of any restaurants you have eaten at in the area aslo please??

I would say your best bet for food as far as variety/choice is concerned is the stretch of 192 that's West of Disney. This would basically be on your drive home, although if you wanted to go home to freshen up first it would take you 10-15 minutes each direction. The 192 goes into I27 on it's western end and I believe you'd then go south on I27 to Davenport.

Bridgwater crossing is on the 27 and as such there are alternatives to the 192 if you head south on the 27 towards Haines City.
Try the restaurant at Southern Dunes golf club it is open to the public and very good .

There is also a little eating place a bit further south -but not much called Fish Tales -which is used by the locals quite a bit -always a good sign it is at 35510 Highway 27, Haines City


For a good chinese try Green leaf also in the same area .
If you go a little north on the 27 to wards the 192 exit -on the right you will see asmall strip plaza ans right on the corner there is a place called The 19th Hole its run by brits and offers good food .

Just opposite there is a another place called Grand Baguette they do great breakfasts , salads soups really good sandwiches and the like -great if you are planning a picnic or to take into the parks to eat instead of burgers .
