which would be your choice for a view of the fireworks? either inside the park or in a resort.

If you aren't worried about prices, I'd say California Grille at Contemporary. While it's a little hard to see from inside, they have two private balconies that you can go out one, and the view is absolutely stunning. If you want a good indoor view, I would recommend 'Ohana at the Polynesian, but it all depends on seating there.

I prefer to be inside the park. We saw them from California Grill earlier this month from the observation deck. It was neat to see it from a different vantage point but I just sort of prefer being inside the park. My favorite spot inside MK is at Casey's Corner, where you can sit outside and have a hot dog. If you arrive around one hour before Wishes you should have no problem finding a table. We also had a table with a view of the castle at O'Hana once, we were too early for Wishes but I would imagine that would be a nice place to view the fireworks. But you would need to luck out and get a table with a view, not all of the tables do.
